If u are going to buy, one v ...check ...made in China or Taiwan ..
Buy..Taiwan only...Taiwan phone is working nicely...giving good performance..do not buy,,,China..always complaints.

My phone is 5 days old and I have a lot of problems, please see below the list of problems:
1. The phone is too slow. After opening phone dialler, when I click "Home" button, it takes 5 seconds to load home page.
2. The gallery associated with camera crashed on 2nd day. I had to download another gallery app to view pics
3. Clicking on business card on dialler, crashes the dialler
4. Adding a widget to home page via Personalize-> Home page, does not work
5. Adding phone numbers to favorites does not work. Crashed a few times when I tried to do this.
6. While playing a game, if I click "Home" button, the screen goes blank for a few seconds giving an impression that it has gone into sleep mode.
I am extremely unhappy with this phone. This is my first android phone, first touch screen phone and first HTC phone. The experience with HTC One V has been very very disappointing.

what is the real internal memory.. 4gb or just 1 gb.. pls do reply.. any answer is highly appreciated. thanks.

I got this phone since 4 days and i am lovin it. I liked all the features of this phone but there are some indifference with oohardware. In net it says htc one v has 4gb internl memory and 512 RAM but there is only 1gb memory and 365 RAM. why this is so? Is company cheating its buyers? Company must clearify this. any body who is using it plz share if u got same sitution!!!

I also felt we the same experience as others are facing when I woke up on Saturday morning the phone battery was drained and not be able to switch on the phone. Got DOA certificate from HTC Service center on Monday i.e. 25th June 2012. Now heading for my replacement set.

Pros:
-S-LCD screen is very good compared to other budget phones in the market right now
-Camera has greatly improved from the previous HTC phones. The new effects also adds more entertainment with the phone
-Continuous shooting, HDR, Macro,
-screen is scratch-resistant even though they dont have Gorilla Glass.
-Sense UI
-Aluminum body makes the phone look more expensive than the original price. :)
-supports Flash so viewing videos online wouldnt be any problem. :)
Cons:
-no SD card included
-speaker is on average performance'
-shutter keys are very much welcome since it doesnt have any front facing cam, making it really hard to take a pic of yourself.
-leap view was taken away for no reason, making it hard to switch windows especially when browsing
-occassional lags, probably because it's only 1GHZ.
-multitasking is not a bit of an eye candy compared to it's S and X siblings.
all in all the phone is really good. some of the problems are only minimal and can be compromised by the Pros. it's worth your money. Just like what they said, it's probably better to check the box first if it is made from Taiwan instead of China before buying it., :)

hey everyone... i've bought htc one v 2 days ago n i've installed 4gb external micro sd card... i've installed some apps n nw the free memory in card is 3 .5 gb but now when i install a new app, it says 'insufficient storage available'.... i dont knw whts the matter.... either the apps are being installed on phone storage then how to change it to memory card??? some plz help me.... w8ing fr a reply... thnk u

Hi all,
I bought this phone on April 14th 2012 and luckily the phone went dead(not charging and not turning ON) after 1.5 month of purchase and I had submitted the phone for repair on June 2nd 2012 and later after 3.5 week on June 22nd 2012 the HTC service guy in Bangalore near Southend informed me that they are giving me a replacement. I was left without phone for 3.5 week and even after repeated complaints to HTC head office they did not respond. I got a replacement phone on June 22nd and now the new replacement phone is DEAD again.... This piece of phone is a big JOKE......! Hahahaha Im going mad and lunatic after purchasing this phone.
All you guys out there i would strongly recommend you not to go for HTC products if you want to keep your hairs intact. Especially the ones in Bangalore Customer service is pathetic and product is a big Joke..!
I have decided to keep this new replaced (DEAD) phone as a souvenir for purchasing my first HTC product which will remind me of the biggest mistake I made. unless HTC official takes some immediate steps to resolve this permanently......(Which i would presume that it would not even happen in my dreams...)

Nothing is perfect, all Smartphones has small complaints,even i phone,s3, s 2, htc. One x, experia s et c...
Sometime Display,Sound, browsing etc...
But some people projecting particular phones complaints only..
I think One v is good Budget phone...no front camera...thats it...if u dont like choose other brands.
We are getting One year warranty ..why are you worried ...?
