i have bought HTC One v phone unfortunately,and the phone was not working in showroom itself and they provided second hand set it was also the same story.next day they have get me a new hand set from another Univercell show room and it was working fine but suddenly it switched off and not able to switch on and i tried to recharge the cell.but it was not charging.i have contacted the customer care cell.and they advised me to approach htc service center.service center people. they suggested me that this particular handset having some manufacturing defect.so please go for another model. could you please suggest anyone have this type of issue

all those who all so impressed with this phone, who are giving this a+ rating, bashing samsung, sony etc. i just have one request.
*** please use the phone and drain the complete battery ***
now please let us know if you are able to re-charge the phone and boot the phone :-)

been using this phone for more than a month, beside lack of front cam, im always think that nonthing else can complaint about this phone, but....
it is very slow when i wan to make a call and search from the Contact. when i press contact icon, most of the time it take about 20 seconds to load my contact list. it is really a problem to me now as i recently changed a job and need make call very often, this lagging wasted alot of time.

The phone is awesome , i loved dis phone .. it works flawlessly and i became fan of HTC .. plz do buy dis phone. The battery life is also good , just front facing camera is missing otherwise its a good phone ....

Bought this phone one week ago. So far no issues. Happy with the phone features so far. Gd phone in 17.5K. Much much better than Sony Ericsson phones. Even better than Samsung phones. Good battery life. HTC ROCKS. Only disappointment is sound quality is not that great on speakers. Rest every thing is A one. Those who agree with me can post their comments.

nibyr, 20 Jun 2012its just a cool phone.. gonna buy it wd no other confusion... morei hate my HTC one v.
it went dead in about a month... the sweat reached the screen leaving spots there... it gets stuck while working.
Miss my iPhone terribly :(

All Htc one series are" one v,one x.one s & one x are flop.very bad series smart phones.
Do not make this type of stupid phones.
Iam waiting for New Windows 8 series phones...they have good specs,stylish & memory slot also...i think windows are good..eg,HD 7 & Titan.

Now,there is 2 types of One v,Made in Taiwan & china..
Do not buy china mobile..is faulty & less price .
But Taiwan mobile is good -100% perfect.
why Htc is not fixing front camera in these phones,these are medium expensive phones,its really bad.
Now new series are coming ,,,desire v .etc.there is also no front camera..why ?
Look samsung phones,,,they are fixing camera in lower cost phones also,,this is highly appreciated.
Thats why samsung in 2nd position.
