As long as they have not changed anything, I believe you can use other tones for your alarm. Mostly smaller WAV or MP3 tones (you can Google stuff like Special Effects, or Movie Quotes). What I had done with my Wing is take that downloaded clip, rename it so it is the same as one of your existing alarm tones, then using Active Sync, drop it into the Windows folder that contains the original alarm tones. Hit Yes to replace it. Worked for me, hopefully for you as well

I gor htc touch cruise week back i got car kit with it also mapking software with registration code and maps also 1 gb card, great pda top of the world no hangs not slow i will give 10 out of 10

it is possible to have any interface in landscape mode, that is so obvious. one of the places to look for software and other answers is www.xda-developers.com

Hie there.... Do the alarm of this phone can be assign with personal ringtone? Coz default tones sound sucks and soft as i really have a hard time waking up in the morning. Does anyone has solution for this?

I'll have it tomorrow, but I cannot wait to see for myself: is it possible to have the GPS interface in landscape mode? Why do they not do something like that, since "widescreen" GPS devices seem to become the norm?

I am glad that i could help enjoy with ur phone and its really lovely.i have put a screen protector to the front panel to avoid the paint from peeling off.
To thoese who r asking abuot the bessinse card reader this software is availible inside ur app cd which comes along with the mobile.u need to install it with ur pc.

I got my Cruise at Clove Technology eshop in UK, and even though I live in Lithuania, I got it practicly next working day through DHL Air Express.

as for your question, I'm not sure yet. I've only used my baby for 2 days and i constantly keep it inside a pouch. so ya, i'm really not sure at the moment abt the peeling. will update u when i have more info.

Ive had mine for 2mths now.Battery is terrible I bearly lasts a day even on light use.Also will not work properly with Parrot bluetooth carkit

The responsiveness of my Touch Cruise is very good. I don't have any problem with it.
I also don't have any problem with the glossy screen. It might be possible that it becomes unreadable with a lot of sun, but in my rainy country it will never be a problem. Mind my words, I said MIGHT, but I'm not sure about it.
Anyone an answer about my question(screen protector one) ?

Hey dude thats not a problem.all u have to do is go to file explorer next go to ur storage card there u will see a folder named DCIM clik on it and u will see a folder named 100MEDIA u need to copy all the photos that u want to see here into this folder and thats it bro.
I have to aske u something too i got mine 1 week ago some said the paint peel off verey fast so far i dont have any problem just wanted to know if its true.tanx

I just bought myself a Touch Cruise and I'm loving it. It's very responsive and fast. I think all the claims of this baby being a mess is a complete lie.
However, I do have 1 question. How can I view the pictures I've added into my memory card by using the Touch Cube? Anyone pls help.

Guys, 2 questions please:
1) watching those demos on youtube it seems like the touch screen is not that responsive (whey they try to rotate the "cube" or click on close button, is it indeed or it just coincidents?
2) the screen looks to be too glossy, does it disturb with reflections in well lit office environment? (review says it's hard to see what's on the screen under direct sun light...)

I just bought the cruise. When buying it the seller told me the quality of the screen protector was very poor. He said some traces will remain on the screen when taking it off. Can someone confirm / deny this ? Thx
