Ok, so PhonSource-USA is out of my list of retailers, what about the rest of the sponsors here on this site? Can anyone recommend a reputable online retailer? Thanks.

can't tell about phone source usa reputation, but I do know they don't accept returns. I won't buy from them because of that.

hi,
Well i've got my touch cruise for 2 month's.
it's a great pda exept htc heavent instaled proper drivers (google for it)and they refuse to make an update. When your on youtube it uses it's streaming media player witch is no good viewing.when u convert a video there is also lag with windows media player, before the touch cruise i had htc p3300 witch had no problems with media...other than that the touch cruise is a great phone.
P.S. the paint of the device leave marks and the volume button looks like it can fall off any time.

Hi JB, I'm hoping that you're referring to Tom's comment because I only asked about the buying experience of people who bought from one of the sponsors here on this site. Thanks.

jxs1,
I think that you have lived in the tank 'cause you speak about this phone so lame like my grandmother would. You paid 150$ for tomtom insdead of installing better software - cracked version of Garmin mobile XT, and I also think that you have no clue what Windows Mobile is about, you should learn basic computer skills and then take this phone into your hands.

Has any of you purchased from any of the sponsored retailers here at GSM Arena (i.e. PhoneSource-USA, Bargain Offers, etc.)? If so, please tell us about your buying experience. Thanks.

hi everybody. i'm sorry if my express is your offensive. i'm tired been waiting for the htc cruise package delivery by ups. when i finally got the package, open and kissed it. i put the battery on and turn on. the phone takes a while to reboot. i alway thought the touch cruise would be better than iphone, because it got gps, windows mobile, etc...
the touch flo is not as good as iphone. the gps is not available in my area. (only one city download allow.) then i paid us$150 for tomtom's map software. (the phone ended up us$850) sofar the explorer is not as good as iphone , there is only certain website you can go to. or it will have error message while loading. there is only thing i like is the size and weight is better than iphone. battery is average. last one day long. with weather update often.
i would have another phone if it cost us$300 including gps and map loaded. because u can't use the gps for a long period of time.

I have never tried Windows Mobile before. I was a big fan of Symbian (and still am).
The first ten minutes I scared that I paid this much for this phone, but now after 3 days: It's a great phone. The wheel is a bit slow but working perfect.
For those who are in doubt for the keyboard feature (choices between Touch Cruise and TyTnII) go for Cruise and install Resco keyboard and have endless fun.
The Transcriber input mode is brilliant and much faster than traditional keyboard for me.
The only issue is memory, which you need to buy seperately. 2GB is ok and have reasonalbe price but 8GB is quite expensive and is the maximum by now.

Hey Ali,
have you missed the Hp ipaq 610/612c ? Its my personal favorite and is better than all the devices you listed except may be the Xperia. Check the specs. It also has a navigation wheel like the Ipod.

I've been saving up and researching phones for months and I've narrowed my options down to 3.
Could someone give me pros and cons, or a personal favorite. Thanks

indeed a brilliant phone. have had changed several phones in the past 2 years. tried all form factors from smartphone to blackberry to palm. started of with my very first... the o2 mini... must say that served me well... went one circle through all those phones and now back to wm htc cruise. and have decided to stop at this ..i at least for some years before a new one storms in again. cruise is definitely all that you can ask for in a pda. great reception , sensitive and fast touch response , great map king application , and superb connectivity ... in terms of overall performance this phone tops the rest I tried... i600 e65 treo650 dopodc750 tytn2 iphone... maybe that's why its selling like hot cakes
