I just got mine in and quite a bit disappointed. It is bulkier than I thought it would be and as always htc design is disappointing. I would've certainly bought the LG ks20 but the batter life was the breaking factor for me and now I am rethinking it. Cruise just as big as my old Tytn but lacks the qwerty key board. Cruise is packed with features such as GPS and Global HSPDA but I rarely use either. Could anyone help me out with the interface difference as far as touch flo as compared to touch interface of LG ks20

Sorry forgot to mension that the HTC Touch Cruise is very stable and that it hasnt crashed onze since I got it (1 month ago).

My conclusion this is a perfect PocketPC, but if taking nice pcitures and filming stuff is also important to you might want to reconsider. Because the HTC Touch Cruise cannot compete with most other cameraphones on the market (the new Nokia's and SE). Also I reaaly miss a flash device.

To end of with a positive note. You can charge you phone on any computer that has a USB (mini USB) connecion. This really is a handy feature that I often use when I visit friends or when I am at works :)

I have had my Touch Cruise now for 1 month and I am very content with it. First I was worried after some rumours on the net that the device was slow and that it crashed allot.

Well the HTC Touch Cuise is incredibly fast compared to my previous phone (blackberry) and that every thing works great. I love Office Mobile, MSN Messenger, Radio, Internet Exploren and Opera, Google Maps also TomTom is such an asset because of the inside GPS.

Only negative remarks are the batterylife (lasty just one day when you use it normaly), and that the headset that comes with the set is of a very poor quality, so you will need to buy a new headset if you a frequent user. Also Adobe Flash Light doenst work well.
Btw I have heard rumour about new batterys from Muggen for TyneII with 3000 mah.

Isnt this supposed to be user opinions, not software requesting and stuff like that, i checked here to see what other people think, but instead, a waste of time

to add additional tap for yr touch cruise, pls look for htc home customizer. u can add up to 6 tap for your htc home. The one paint always pealing off was the htc logo.

mine worked great for 4 days and then the phone feature quit working. it just continuously searches for a network, but won't find one and won't register. i called At&t and since my SIM card works great in other phones, i was directed to HTC for problems with the device. It has now been 4 weeks and they are still not able to help. The Touch Cruise model is not available for service in the US and they have no idea if/when it will be. Great.

It's irriatating when you read comments like 'give me a Symbian anyday'.When you first used your Symbian didn't you think that was complicated?Of coarse, but you learned the tips and tricks the same applies with WinMob.You need to go to http://xda-developers.com and learn how to use your device properly.

You can get 8GB microSD (sdhc) in market. Brand is Sandisk. Cruise only accepts microSD not miniSD. Before buying one go to the shop and request them to test it with your device.

first of all i think most of the question can be answered easily. Basically i feel most of the issues encounter is "personal".. is not a manufacturer defact. To enable the sdhc, u just need to get the sdhc driver in is done. Will get it for replacement with my dopod d810.
