You might want to look for the new 2.8 version..
And regarding Android you can copy the necessary files to your phone (SD Storage) and run it..
Also regarding Win 6.5, yes you can, and people are using it since last February or even before that too..

Does anybody know how to expot contats and calendar via active syinc, because I can't find that option in windows mobile device centre, and I would like to make a backup because I want to put new ROM that HTC put on their site. Also is it poslible to instal android to HD insted of windows, or would HD be able to support windows 6.5 or higer (e.g. anounced windows for mobile 7)?

Is there any Qibla programs compatibel with Windows? Is this Window Xp or Vista? Do I have to install updates from Windows like the normal PC? What about if a new version like from XP -> Vista, do I have to buy the new release?

Using this Touch HD with the new Touch Diamond 2 interface can't get any better.. Great Experience!!!
But when i saw HTC Hero, i first for the first feel that i wanna port this version of android to my phone, although i ignored all the previous versions.. Guys from xda-developers are working on it...

this is the links to the original and cooked HD roms on dutty's web site. you will have to sign up to be able to download them.
but you have to change your spl to hspl first before you can install the rom. the link on how to install hspl is below.

My HD has The Holy Quran with (Tafseer), Hijri calender, Prayer times and Arabic Keyboard..

read everything there then read the post for doing it the hspl way.
you may have to join xda if you have to download anything.
I see there is rom there with the word stock in it. it might be the rom your phone first had, I don't know. but you can still get cooked/original roms on dutty's web site.

HTC HD is the best one from HTC,
WM is great and they just need to improve it sometimes later... why are they starting to make android phones???

Has anyone tried to use this phone on AT&T 3G? I know the specs don't say it supports, but I heard that there is an option to select UMTS 850/1900.

Please tell how to do i... morefirst go the htc site and download the updated rom (you will only be able to download it if your phone s/n is right for the rom on the site.) once you get the rom, try it as the sight said. if that does not work, you will have to flash it using the hspl way. That way works, because when I just start using cooked roms I would go back and forth from cooked to original rom if I didn't like the cooked rom I got.
if the htc site does not give you the rom because of your s/n, then you can get original roms on dutty's web site. you just have to finger out which of the many roms is the one that was on your phone. I'm not home now, so I can't give the link to the tutorial right now. but if you need it let me know I will post it when I get home. or Dexter will post it.
