as for if the phone will lock back the answer is NO.

Those are mirros/server location and thus you will end up by downloading the same file. Select the mirror that is closer to you. Goodluck.

Hi this ia a question to Antony .I new with the HTC TOUCH HD . I would like to download the Hot fix to enhance response time for HTC Touch HD . I have bought this phone from UK and its unlocked and using it in India. I would like to know when I download hot fix from HTC site which zone should I select Europe or Europe2 or Asia and also would like to know will this hotfix relock my phone . Iv got one now! great detail of the phone as the weather check like when it rains there is also a wiper for it lol :p. Anyway you were all right about the typing, it feels like any hardware keyboard. This phone is too awesome for my purpose or any one's purpose!!

i have found that the HTC Touch HD is a very lovely phone to use. not only is it a phone for callin and msging but i can do all my office work on it too.

and yes you can turn the screen off when in a call.
just press the power. the screen goes off but the phone is still on

Jana, 27 Mar 2009I have a HTC Touch - it is a breeze typing on touch screen.... moreThank you very much sir. This was my only fear as i need a phone where i could type a lot of emails. Anyway i heard that during a call if u activate the screen for something u cant turn it off again. is that true? and is single handed use like dialing a number or typing small sms using the dialpad version keyboard totally impossible. Please kindly let me know as i have to buy either this or touch pro by tomorrow but i personally prefer this one better.

hi everyone,
I just recently got hold of this new device. I am a novice for this mobile window. So if anyone could please help me with this, I would really appreciate. It sems that I need v3.5 of .net compact frame to install Gyrator 2 to work on the phone. How could I update my .net compact framework to be v3.5 on the phone. I can't seem to be able to do it.

Hi all
Have anyone use this application called "PocketMac for Windows Mobile 5 & 6" by Information Appliance Associates ?
I would like to sync Calendar and contacts from iMac to Touch HD so thinking to purchase it at Handango.
If not could recommend any applications that will sync with iMac?

can someone suggest simple player ( light weight one ) to play all the video formats ..
Currently im not able to play .avi and .dat with the current media player version in the HD .

The only problem is that you cannot sms with one hand while driving- or sms under the desk while in a meeting because you cannot feel the buttons. Maby thats a good thing.

have you tried the 6.5WM ROM? if you have, can y... moreHello Anthony. I did not personally try the WM6.5 ROM because it is not bug free yet. And yes you will have to flash the device and therefore you will lose your WM6.1. You can flash back to WM6.1 if you do not like the WM6.5 ( already flashed my old HTC and Xda devices in the past ). Fore more infos check xda-developers website.

have you tried the 6.5WM ROM? if you have, can you tell me does it over write the 6.1WM ROM or is it still there, so if I don't like 6.5 I can factory reset to go back to 6.1?
