Also for screen rotation i suggest Gyrator2. Much better and faster than gsen.
It is not worth comparing this device to whatever iphone made in the past or willing to do. This phone has WM6.1 and cooked WM6.5 available on xda-developers. Android is running on this device but the project is still running. It can also emulate the iphone UI. Still asking urself which one to chose?
For the gamers, Check xda-developers, I have installed a great game made by SE called Xktrakt IT ROCKS !!.
If you are asking about the sound quality.. Using the headphones the sound quality is 9/10. If you are considering using the speaker than I would say 7/10.
The stock ROM is almost bug free and very stable. Of course I suggest you upgrade your ROM if it is a carrier supplied ROM because it will be slower than the stock one.The support for the OS is huge and developers do not stop working on enhancing it. If feel very happy with the 3.5 inches audio socket, actually Ive been waiting for this feature. Bluetooth, wifi,GPS,FM Radio with RDS, 5MP camera,Huge screen, excellent battery performance, great phone reception,GSM 3G HSDPA HSUPA,eyecandy design, 32GB support for MicroSD cards,3.5 audio socket..What do you need more?
And let me tell u something.. If you think that more MegaPixels camera will get better pictures, You all are wrong. As long as the lens is not changing dont even expect any better quality with even a 12Mpixel phone. Those specs are only commercial things.
For those asking about the GPS, It locks within 15 secs maximum if you are using radio version 1.09. I have Google maps,Sygic 7.5. and Garmin Mobile TX and they all work perfectly. There is a small lag of 1-2 secs but you will only notice it if you are running at speed higher than 80mph.
One last thing... Iphone is for entertainment and play around... Windows Mobile is for professional and business use. Wake up....

I have the HD since 2 weeks.. This device is an Ace kicker. Man you will not believe how good it looks. It looks much smaller than it appears in the pictures. I carry it everyday without any problem. Actually it is very thin and light!! I swear Ive been with Xda, i-mate and HTC since 6 years and this is one of the most beautiful powerful devices my hands got on it. Great screen, great design, excellent signal reception. The only cons is that it is expensive as hell. I got it for 1049$ USD. If you can afford for it, I highly recommend it. Dont even think of touch pro2 or diamond2. This one is way better.

Can someone help me with .Net Compact framework? Most applications I install says that I need to install a higher version of .NETCF but when I try to install 2.0, which is the most common one, the isntallation says that I already have a higher version and then it ends installation. How do I solve this? I really want to use the advanced programs but installing .NETCF is a pain in the ass.

Oh also download EMOZE it allows you to access push email on your phone although i would strongly advise that you tell it to block images and limit its size to 2000 characters... otherwise yet again you will probably hit your download allowance.

Wait you guys are telling me that you thought all updates are free when your phone downloads them LOL!
Any Non-wifi/ activesync internet activity on the phone is charged... and if your not careful you can easily out do what you network allows in there download bolt-ons. I would be very careful..... Larger file downloads only access when using wifi otherwise smaller files may be downloaded using 3G or EDGE i strongly recomend that you check with your provider as to your allowance. I have 200mb fair useage and ive so far never gone over...

Have had the HTC HD for a week now and WOW what a great phone. Full QWERTY takes some getting used to since the letters are small. Sound is great with Sony ear buds but the volume level could be higher, Easy set up for cell connection, Bluetooth, wifi , data and a breeze to load documents and music. BTW you can lock the phone by holding the end phone button.

You need to take care when it is in your pocket. If a text comes in the screen becomes live and in my experience the phone then makes calls without your knowledge.
