r2d2, 25 Mar 2009the ringtones? is there anyway of useing your own music as ... moreR2D2 I'll take it that you already know how to change sound notifications files with ones that show up in the list, and you just want to know how to get your files in that list as well... all you have to do is save the audio files in (.wav) format and put it in the memory card in the main area (not in a sub folder) and it will show up in the list... if you don't even know what list I'm talking about let me know.

Does anyone know how the conection to the server is made to update infos on the standard programs, such as the welcome screen with all the wheather forecast and so? I wonder if it'll charge your bill or if it will connect to some HTC server free of charge.

What is the general opinion of the on screen keyboard? I am thinking of getting one but have been using the TyTn 2 with the Qwerty keyboard.

Still looking for a game called reversi or othello. Perhaps this phone is too advanced for the games available.
Any ideas anyone?

In my opinion the sound is not as good as the Sony Ericssons walkman phones but a lot better than other kinds of SE phones, like their camera phones for example. It's not the phone of choice for the hardore music lover, but a great smartphone for anyone who loves music.

Hi TOUCH HD USERES: How is the Music interface and Sound quality in Headphones when you are listening to a music with TOUCH HD?? does it sound good like Nokia N'series and S.E.Walkman phones?

Mine_2_u, 23 Mar 2009Hi guys, I bought an unlock HTC touch HD and I use my T-mo... moreauto setup is off in your phone so you will have to do it manually. tap on start, then settings. tap the connections tab and start "connection setup" pick your country and provider. follow the prompts, and it should work after that.

Hi James, tnx for answering my question. I did turn on the data connection in Comm Manager, but it's not working. Do I have to add new modem or manage existing connections? tnx for helping me out, nobody can help me out on this. I think i have to call HTC up for this =(

Dirk, 23 Mar 2009Hi Anthony, is there a possobility to zoom in or out on th... moresorry no phone running windows mobile can have multi touch. because the OS can't do it. not even desktop windows can do it. but on the good side you can pan a pic after it's zoomed. just press on it without moving. then you will see a pan keyplan show up in the corner. once it's there you can pan the pic with one finger. let me know when you try it.

Hi guys,
I bought an unlock HTC touch HD and I use my T-mobile sim card on it. Yesterday I bought the data plan on my phone so I can go online. However, my phone keep showing message of cannot connect to EDGE and ask me to either reset the phone or tap setting. Does anybody know how to fix this problem? Is there something wrong? I tried to get online but I couldnt. Thanks alot guys.

Hi Anthony,
I mean is there a program to download on the touch HD so it will work like on the iphone to zoom in on a photo, open 2 fingers to zoom in and close 2 fingers to zoom out.
I find it not so handy to turn with the clock or against the clock to zoom in or out, and then you can not move the photo on the display. then you have to zoom out again and zoom in on an other spot on the photo:

It is a very good phone , however I find it a bit heavy to hold and the on/off button is difficult to press !
