Anonymous, 01 Jan 1970You can change the text input to a whole manner of options. Handwriting, qwerty, compact qwerty (two letters to a key like the blackberry 8110), and phone keypad!!! Plus Orange are lying to you, they had an exclusivity period of like a month and now its available on 02, almost identical tarriff plans, but the bonus of o2 is the unlimited data package!

bmlkfan, 14 Jan 2009what is Android? Does HTC HD have Androidandroid is a new operating system. Not quite there yet but a real scare contender for the future. And no, the blackstone uses windows mobile 6.1 and touchflow v3. You can find the android on a phone like the Google G1.

Be careful who you buy from - lots of scams being run with what appears to be a UK or other European website and phone number but often when you contact them by email and then backtrace their message it comes from a POP in Kenya or such - just a front for scaming you out of some cash

hdman, 10 Jan 2009guys sorry for late reply..i emailed that guy like this ... moreHi, regarding buying a phone from an unknown over the internet, i would be very wary as although i wasnt buying a phone, i was looking to buy a car and nearly got conned out of 4000 pounds. The seller advised me she was in switzerland and needed a quick sale hence the low price and also advised me that we would use a 3rd party so we wer both safe, i cant remember the name of what we wer going to use but it began with a W, any way, i did alot of research into this and found out it as a total con, so be very wary and try to get the name of the 3rd party and look it up 1st as it will proberly come up somewhere if it is a scam. Hopes this helps.

However, if you want the normal today screen, you have to install other applications (i.e. Second Today, or Manilla Control) that give the options to display another today screen and to swith between them with simple touch or predefined key.

Anonymous, 15 Sep 2008hey! i really like this phone but wont it be slow???I bought the HTC Touch Diamond. A friend of mine was very happy. Forget this phone: the screen has a very bad sensitivity. I activates functions I do not ask for, does not react; even if I am a power user, I still do not manage certain basics; the phone has problems with the accu capacity, which is a very well known problem from the distributo; the phone sometimes calls somebody on its own, and you do not know why. My friend made the same experience. Windows is perhaps the worst feature. When you did manage to do some things in one step, you will need sometimes 3 to 4 now. What a progress!!! Finally the phone is so slow. I am going to buy a blacberry 9000. I tried it and is just a class for itself. I doubt very much that other HTC models are better than the diamond.
