Well, i work in a HTC office, that sells htc phones.. and i must say.. This phone is AWSUM!
NOT!
The programming is bad, the phone freezes 2-3 times /hour, and the programs that are pre-installed dosent even work!
And, the "HD" .. pfff.. i get sharper images on my Nokia 3310 !
The only 1 that would enjoy this phone is a Jedimind!

fantom, 15 Jan 2009the htc touch hd is a great phone.but at the moment i am in... moreIf u buy it now, then you would need to unlock the spl and install the WWE / UK version of the WM 6.1. If you can wait till u r back in the uk then you will get to buy the UK version right away and need not unlock the phone. You decide based on ur priorities and requirement.

the htc touch hd is a great phone.but at the moment i am in germany and i wanted to bay the pohone,but when i asked how can i change the languige from german to english thay sad thats not possible.if i want to change the languige on thise pohone i have to change the software,but htc is not giving the english software to the germann companis.i dont think thats a good idea becouse evry phone has to have several languiges to chouse.so anyway what should i do? should i listen the gay whic told mi to bay the phone from england or should i whate for 2 more mants to go back to england and than to bay it?

This phone is fantastic. It's my first PDA, Great for emails, internet and attachments. Very fast internet and great camera. Battery life is good too.

- Qualcomm MSM7201A 528 Mhz processor....so...END of STROY ...iphone lovers...no hard feelings to you of course...stay cool !!!

got my HD yesterday and its a great phone but i wish the buttons lights up its hard to see in the dark :(

To sync your calender, contacts and email the handet links up to outlook. So you would need a copy of outlook on your OS to do that :/ You can run an active sync' driver on the MAC OS to sync music files and application data.
