I simply love it. Some people complain about WM OS, and they are right, but still... To be able:
- (finaly) listen music with a fairly good quality
- watch (almost) all movies, by just copying it on the device, without any tools of converting the file and waiting 30 minutes or more for that, just copy the file and wath it.
- the freedom of choosing an application for using the GPS, is just the best.
- capability to put so many apps on it without any big trouble
- possibility to change the OS as you like it(English, french, etc, tweaked, customised, etc)
- capability of having some games which 15 years ago I was playing on Desktop PC's is just superb(too bad that I have no more patiente or time to play them :)) )
No device can beat that for the present.
Would be nice to see in the future a screen with a 16M colours like all other devices have, but with this phone(After having the HTC P3600 & HTC Touch Diamond, many Nokias (N95 8GB was the last one) , SonyEricosson devices), I am very satisfied.
I'm waiting to see what's next on HTC and hopefuly WM 7....

HTC HD is very expensive device and it is very bulki type and nobody can't use while driving bcoz its a very sensitive device i will never purchase this device.

I am using the Touch HD on Rogers network in Canada and I noticed that the time on text messages I receive are 5 hours behind from the actual time. I still receive them in real time but the time stamp is just off. Just wondering if anyone else has experienced this.

Jeff, 18 Jan 2009I have had a look at the HTC HD in the shop and none of the... moreYeh unfortunately that tilt function has a limition but like I said in the earlier post Win Mo has no restrictions. Just google for "Gyrator" or "Gsen" they both have the capability to change the screen no matter wht application u are on.

As far as the softwares are concerned Windows mobile have no limitations just google it u can have tons of 'em. Wifi if not faster than not even slower to iPhone, trust me I have both and battery is far more stronger than iPhone.

this mobile phone is awsome but im very happy with my htc touch diamond..there are only two diference between them...5mega pixel camera and the size of the screen...

I have had a look at the HTC HD in the shop and none of the shop staff could make the WinMo Word or Excel change from portrait to landscape and be able to use the virtual keyboard. The auto accelerometer does NOT seem to work in these MS Office applications. Does anyone know how to make these WinMo Apps work in landscape mode with virtual keyboard?

how bout if we want to connect to the internet without wifi, which one is faster? storm or this HD? i still can't decide which one i have to buy, storm or HD? and why? please anyone help me.. thanks

HTC Touch HD over Storm anyday, storm doesnt have wifi thats all that i need to know its garbage so HTC Touch HD here i come... just waiting for your price to drop down some more before i buy =0)

allen121, 14 Jan 2009can you get skype and msn on it?YEs u can install skype and MSN there is a skype version for windows mobile on the skype oficial site. and the msn comes with the preinstaled windows mobile 6.1 profesional. I hope that info helps u.
