mg_1973, 28 Dec 2008Guys, I already have a Tytyn II and I watched the HD handse... morethe device does get warm, but no hotter, haven't known anyone to have over-heating issues though. I wouldn't worry too much about that. You'll be under warranty anyway!
Within the slight delay in responsiveness, once you'v installed the hotfix from the HTC website, it works alot more fluently with little lag (unless you're making the poor thing work too hard)
Alot better than the Tytn. Doubly fast, best HTC ever made.

Guys, I already have a Tytyn II and I watched the HD handset at one of the shops, but I felt there are some problems , which i need someone to confirm / clarify as follows:
1. The handset gets hot when it's used for a while, even if not in a call and just playing with the handset.
2. The touch screen takes a while to perform the action ur doing.
I need someone to confirm or clarify as I'm planning to buy it tomorrow.
Any idea/comparison with Tytyn II? Is it better ? Many thanx in advance.

The Iphone has only one platform, 1 hardware design, 1 screen design, 1 of everything. Its so enclosed its a one shot wonder phone. Nice screen good UI great browser. HTC releases a wide variety of designs, hardware platforms, screen resolutions, etc. Apple Iphone only 1. Tell Apple to release a WVGA phone or any other resolution, release multiple platforms, etc. See if the App Store doesn't get into trouble. The fact is, Iphone has been relatively unchanged since release. Sure a little upgrade here and there but the screen is still the same, still same crap 2MP camera, same UI, same, etc.. It is also why Nokia keeps all its non-touch phones all at the same 320x240 resolution. Because it makes selling apps easier.
WinMo is not about having everything in one place. You want the software, hunt for it yourself. Its like MP3. If you don't buy legally, you hunt for it online. The same principle with WinMo software. Its out there, just look for it.

true its complicated and challenging for other people(me) that makes this phone a toy. like mod. tweaks, and other issue a WM can deliver. :D
its like if you know lots about computer (software wise and hardware wise you will not get hard dealing with this device.
