yes it does. it does not look as good as iphone under direct sunlight but I can read it. can your low res screen see small details in picture you take or do you have to wait till you email it to a pc?

1-No Flash support in the web browser
2-Still no file manager (or any other way to see all your files in one place)
3-Still no vibration feedback when touching the screen
4-No Bluetooth file transfers between mobile devices (you cannot send a photo to another phone or even iPhone and you can't receive one as well)
5-Contacts lack a swipe-to-delete or mass delete feature (but you can swipe-to-delete individual phone numbers)
6-Lacking SMS/MMS features: No msg character counting, no delivery notifications
7-Lacking email features: no bulk "mark as read", no ZIP or RAR support in mail, mail search doesn't search in email body
8-No smart dialing (but Spotlight is a good substitute)
9-No TO-DO app (but can be installed additionally)
10-No turn-to-mute feature (though that's more of a gimmick)
11-The Lock screen could have accommodate some info plug-ins such as upcoming appointments and events, weather, stocks, news, RSS feeds, etc.
12-A Wireless manager would have made turning on/off 3G, GPS, Wi-Fi, Airplane mode, and Bluetooth much more user-friendly
13-Still no true multitasking support (but perhaps for the better, having in mind the already poor battery life)
14-The system-wide search Spotlight is often too slow to launch iPod tracks
15-You can't use the iPhone massive storage as a removable USB drive under Windows
16-The whole iPhone is too dependent on iTunes - you cannot upload one type of content (video, photos, apps) from two computers, iTunes behaves fairly poorly under Windows, a regular file management interface would have been much better
17-Still no DivX or XviD video support and no official third-party application to play that.

yes... you like... moreIts so sad that I can not do jailbreak with this 3.1 update. But as usual i can do it eventually ...i know & u know that. Only thing is ...i need to wait little more.
As usual i always want you guys to come down to basics but you guys always seem to run away from the truth. Thats the saddest part!

i hope you realy lik... moreYou are one of those victims who bought winmob without any knowledge. All your 9 points are invalid except no1. Yes iphone can not do video call. Other 8 points…hmm do some research before you say sth. I can do bluetooth transfer, send mms ……coz mine is jailbroken. Regarding changing battery, Iphone does not get hanged like winmob…..no need to take out battery ..hold for some seconds & put it back and restart the phone. As for battery juice, iphone can last upto 3 days for normal use and I bet it lasts more than your HD. If you need more battery power, you can get plug-in batteries …even you can get solar power case for iphone.
Regarding low volume & music…..The main reason I bought iphone Is due to music & itune. I can not live without music. When it comes to music, iphone/ipod is pioneer. And I don’t want you argue about this with me coz u know nth about this. About memory, why the hell you need extra when you have 32 gb inside your phone? Apple does not like movable things in their form-factor for durability reason.

yes... you like to send email on your Iphone, well I can do it faster in winmo. to get into a new e-mail and address it is just 2 clicks. and I can write faster with handwriting than you can type on your smaller screen. making me finish faster.

did you take your free 3.1 upgade and go back to at&t with your tail between your legs with your jailed-up phone. too bad there is no more jailbreaking for you after that update. maybe you can send me a mms in a month so I can see what your bars look like, better yet send it with the post man I'll get it faster. lol.

1) no video call
2) safari browser without FLASH...(my god)
3)no MMS...(long ago my nokia 6600 have)
4)very low Ringtone and earpiece volume
5)no third party software without itune & payment
6)no file transfer via bluetooth
7)no extra memory (only in built)
8)you cant change iphone battery at home
9)you cant use your iphone as a MODEM
wm mobile is more user friendly compare to iphone.

M Piseth living in Cambodia n now using the htc touch pro. I want 2 buy a better latest htc touch model, n now impressed on the htc touch hd (even though it has been released out last year). However, m doubful if it can be fully upgraded into wm 6.5 or not. if yes, does wm 6.5 work smoothly on hd? On the other hand, m not the IT person; so could anyone kindly help me in the full guide to upgrade hd wm 6.1 to 6.5 one?

- Blue tooth modes (beam)
- Wi-fi/GPRS/3G
- Internet Browsing
- Go through the on-screen keyboards and get used to them.
- Closing programs in-case they are open to free RAM.
- Soft Reset/Hard Reset
Search youtube about touch HD with keywords like "Touch HD Rom","Touch HD windows 6.5","Touch HD interface".

I want you to understand that windows mobile has more in common with a net book than it has with a Nokia cell phone. so there are alot of setting you may want to change so it will be best for you. (every single program on this phone and the ones you will put on after have there own settings. you need to know them because some may contradict each other when you start using 3rd party software)cook rom change driver's, programs, add features and "take features out" to make them work better. you need to know what was there to begin with, so you will know what was added or taken away. that way you can get a 3rd party app to add it back if you use it.
so read fast, try everything, come here and ask questions. try 3rd party programs under 6.1
then go on to changing roms.
