Bullet, 12 Sep 2009Hi elo every body just bought a touch can any body help me ... moreto change your phones rom you have to unlock its spl first. the best way is to use hspl. use the search above to find hspl in older post, and you will see where I and dexter helped people in the past to do the upgrade. then have fun reading

when you update your rom you can change the manila to one from the newer phones.
the HD Is also known use blackstone.
the diamond2 is also known topaz.
and one of the phones still not lunched for resale is known as leo.

And what is this leo r2, manila, coreplayer, topaz r1.- are this softwares?
And can any body suggest a good dictionary that i can put on my mobile after i upgrade to wm6.5 the one that can translate languages like english to spanish ect.

Windows give the OS to hTC, they add drivers for the hardware and suitable functions and then call it a ROM.. They cook it and release it officially.. What happens is people like Dutty take the ROM again cook it to fix the bugs and add more features for our needs...

I am... moreSamsung Omnia II VS Touch HD:
- The Omnia II in Hardware is better than the Touch HD.
- TouchFlo3D is better than the TouchWiz, according to Samsung users they use touchflo on their devices.
- Software in the Touch HD is better than the Omnia.
- You won't find stable Roms for the samsung, because the rom developers (Cooked or Official) are better and more experienced than the samsung's.
- Even though the specs in the Samsung are better in performance. If you compare both devices with updated roms (Cooked, or maybe official), the Touch HD is faster and more stable and will never crash or freeze.
