Hello everybody, can anyone tell me please something about Touch HD. Have to make decision tomorow to buy or not to buy. As I saw A-GPS came with phone, but can I use this phone as GPS or have to buy maps separately. Second, is it possible to upgrade from WM 6.1 to 6.5?

... moreThis is my fourth hTC mobile to unlock.. Unlocking is a must.
1- You can install any official rom, not only your country one.
2- You can install cooked roms. They are cooked by developers and they're more faster and stable than the official ones and REALLY RECOMMENDED.
3- More free ram and rom will be available after a new cooked rom.
4- More battery life.
5- Updated features.
6- Roms are available in a daily to weekly basis.
7- Some roms have additional features, based on users demand.
Use Hard-SPL to unlock:

If you have unlocked the phone using Hard-SPL then here are the links for Dutty's:

Try R12, it should be the latest and most stable rom, but some people and i for one feel R9 is more stable.. It depends on your software.
If you want free software just google them by using the kewords "wvga","cab" and the name of the software.. They're everywhere..

I tried many times & the phone is only good for emergency calls. I have a load of information stored in internal memory I dont want to lose so I want to avoid a hard reset, does anyone know a way around this?
I emailed HTC but have had no reply.

i love the htc hd but i think the omnia 2 is better in all ways but the question is can i use the new touchflo on the omnia 2 cuase i used the old touchflo on the sony xperia

Thanks for your reply. I have heard and also seen mentioned somewhere on net that HTC touch HD wont be upgradeable (officially) to windows 6.5 and probobly will have to go for cooked roms (e.g. Dutty's).

Guys i had using this phone for 2 month now. I LIKE IT. Best phone ever i had before!. Now still using nokia n95 8gb,nokia 5800..but what can i say is HTC HD different. i can play alot with it. now the rom i usinghttp://www.gsmarena.com/htc_touch_hd-reviews-2525p4.php. 6.5 window. just love it.And i had no problem with my gps. i using map king. great phone.

Dutty's R11 has few bugs, i keep restarting my device, when i was just about to go back to R10 i see that Dutty has released R12 and fixed the bugs.. :)
