1. I like the bigger icons in wm6.5 r3
2. I preferred the look of the menus from r3. it really poped. R4 menus looks flat.
3. I don't like that the predictive text comes up so far from the keyboard, it slows down how fast I can change a word.
4. having to hold down a key to bring out the "D pad" is a keep back as well.
5. i don't like the smoke on the manila. it would be nice if I could use my own pic. but this one is not a big deal.
6. some settings were left out of keyboard settings,
now when I press space bar to auto complete... I have to press it again to get the space. (a next time killer) (before I could change that in settings but not any more.) I'll be looking out for R5 :) because if dutty's work on 6.5 is any thing like what he did with 6.1 I know it is only going to get better

just open the java program and install and run from there. the thing is not all jar programs are made for tuch screen phones and this phone has no keys

the one and only draw back is the jar files or supported like nokia and sony and the colour is 65 only but in sony and nokia 6million or atleast 256k butin htc is 65k only please improve

Regarding the Dutty's 6.5 i think the R4 is better, but lets do more testing..

the nice think now is, you dont have to do the first part any more. with hspl your phone will take any rom now.

if you are staying with wm6.1
click on duttys HD rom series
and download HD V3.9 XT Turbo
or if you are going with wm6.5
click on Duttys HD wm6.5 series
and download HD WM6.5 R3 not R4
after you try R3 you can try R4 if you want.
after you install any of the roms on your phone do a hard rest before you reinstall any thing programs

Imran, 06 Jul 2009I updated the USB Driver also but my PC still cant see the ... moreok try running the file with the phone "on" and linked to windows mobile center.
(not in the both loader mode.) turn of anti virus

I updated the USB Driver also but my PC still cant see the phone when it is in the bootloader mode. and still gives me the same error even after i updated the USB driver and restarted the pc.

Imran, 06 Jul 2009i have tried on both. but one thing i would like to clarify... moreit has been a long time i did the switch from spl to hspl. but yes i think it was linked to windows mobile center. and i had to udate my usb drivers befor my pc could see the phone when i was in booth loader mode.

i have tried on both. but one thing i would like to clarify once u shut down the phone and start with the down vol key and start button it shows USB on the phone and it connects to the pc but does it connect through active sync or windows mobile device cneter.

Hi Anthony...I have already done these steps. int eh red band it says BLAC100 32M SPL-1.140.0000 MicroP-Blackstone (LED) v6 nothing in the greeen and blue band and in the white it says serial once i connect the usb it says USB. after that when i run the unzipped HSPLWrapper_Blackstone_156OliNex after a 1 min or so it gives me the error even the status in the phone changes and it shows me the progress bar. it gives tme ERROR[262]: UPDATE ERROR. but once i remove the batteryu of th phone and put it back in and restart the phone it works porperly. let me know when u can be online so we can go on with some other way if there is.
