Anyway, with your phone not connected to the PC...
1. Power it off.
2. Hold down the volume down. And while holding it down, press the power button. It should turn on and the whole screen should consist of four bands. Red green, blue and white, in that order.
3. In the red band, you should see...
BLAC100 32M
SPL-1.56.01ilNex
MicroP-BlackStone (LED) V6
4. In the white band you should see...
Serial
5. connect the phone to your PC using the usb cable. The word “serial” should change to "usb"
6. If it does not change to usb you need to update the usb drivers on your pc. This is the link that shows how that is done. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=524619
5. With the word "usb" in the white band, if the red band does not say what I said above you need to unzip the "HSPLWrapper_Blackstone_156OliNex.zip" and run it with the phone is in this mode.

And will htc touch hd start charging itc battery whenever it si connected to the computer

Hi Anthony
I tried disabling the anti virus,.net 3.5 was already there but no luck. the only thing that i have not tried is the update the USB Drivers. and how i can get that done is soething i need to know. after the first 2 things also i stil get the same error. my current ROM does not get corrupted. once i remove the battery and insert it again it starts working. but somehow i cant get it updated.

Anonymous, 01 Jan 1970no! read between his lines. he hates HTC phones because a big, fat, sweaty, minicab driver, nerd, that needed deodorant, pretending to be business man took his woman. she told him she was impressed by his phone. so he came here to give warning that the next sales woman he gets is not going to be impressed by a phone. so he is begging that nerds don't come back.
I wander if his next woman is impressed by a man with a car if he will hate cars too? but we may never get an answer because now he knows that nerds buy htc phones on the net as well, so now he should hate the net as well.

I and many others not going to spend there off time lined up in a store to buy a phone.
and I'm not going line up to impress an under paid employee. a woman impressed by a phone is not a woman to have.

Hi..everybody..i have an problem on my htc touch hd..is that this phone dont have the lighting for the keypad? if i need to use at night..how can i define which is call / home / back / button?
