HTC Pro is now available in Middle East, I got my Unit on Sep 13, 2008 in the morning. I am sure that I am the first one to have it in Qatar.
Excellent mobile till now.

Hi all, I am PDA new bird, hope to learn from u guys here, some Qns from me listed below:
1. Where can i find free download software than can be use in pda ?
Any recommended software ?
2. Do i need to install it or just simply copy and drop into my memory card?
3. Heard that HTC Touch Pro dun have chinese supported , any software can help me write and read chinese msg ? (As my parent dunno English)
4. The Singapore seller declare a free gift of (a) "Microsoft Windows Mobile Software bundle" & (b) 8GB MicroSD card,
May i know does this come together with the original package of HTC or this is really a additional free gift from the seller ?
How much does this 2 free gift worth in S$ ?
5. How you guys feel about the keypad ?
user friendly ? As i am in a dillema in choosing Omnia or Touch PRo, with or without keypad......

Will this phone be going to Best Buy, unlocked with 3G, like the Touch Diamond was?? i really want it, and would prefer not to have the crippled version (without wifi and all that nonsense) that the carriers are starting to offer.

I would love to send you one from Taiwan but here in Taiwan they only have them in Chinese so no English versions here. There are good people and bad people out there. Would have helped you out had they had a Chinese version of the HTC Pro here.

I was talking to somebody from vodafone yesterday, having a bit of a rant asking why they were not releasing the handset.
They said the same, because of issues with it and the issues they had with the diamond.
I had a diamond and sent it back, along with an Omnia. The diamond had hardware issues and the Omnia is just rubbish!!

this phone is not availiable in th uk with vodafdone until the september 18th more delays. there are alot of problems with htc touch and touch pro. vodafone has told htc they do not want the phone until all the problems have been resolved. here were far too many problems with touch diamond they do not want the same with the touch pro.
