HTC is planning to release more devices this year. With the GSMA show 2008 ended recently in Barcelona, they have already launched Advantage X7510 and P3470. So yes, definitely there is more chance for a TyTN iii......... But the price tag will be high.

BTW: SE X1 is running WM 6.1

anyone think that since the anouncement and excitement of the SE X1, and the fact that's it's made by HTC that there could be a tytn III on the way?

T-Mobile MDA Vario III mentions a max speed of 1.8 MBPS on HSDPA. The TyTnII is supposed to provide max speeds upto 3.6 MBPS.

Can some of the Users clarify if MDA Vario will go upto 3.6 MBPS in networks supporting the higher speed?

      Appreciate the help.

For those who want to use various chat applications; go to www.fring.com

You can maintain various chat clients under one using fring.

Download the application for your device, install and enjoy. This is superb.

I've had the tytn2 since December having had the i-mate jam previously. I've been happy with the phone in general but in the last 2 weeks or so it has become difficult for callers to understand me throughout a call due to my voice fading in & out during conversations. Anyone experienced the same problem? Is it a reception issue i.e. weak signal(which I doubt) or a faulty unit?

Hi, can the custom home screen, which shows the big clock, be changed/customized to allow you to pick the items want shown on the screen?

For example, customizing how many Calendar items to list, show battery life, disk space, etc.

Have just switched from Atom Exec to HTC TyTnII. Love the HTC, reminds me of my old XDA IIs which worked perfectly also.

Full Screen video is glitch free runs smooth as with TCPMP, not sure about the comments I have seen regarding no GPS software or problems with Co-Pilot. Mine came installed with Co-Pilot live, took a little while for initial gps location to come through but I have had the same issue with my other GPS units. Since then works fine, speed is good althougth the Australian Females voice is annnoying as all hell.

Screen brightness even in full sunlight is good much better than the Atom Exec. Have had no issues with processor speed PocketSnes runs fine even with sound emulation. So far battery life has been ok but I have only had the HTC a week so hasn't had a good workout yet.

The actual phone and wireless function are all fine, sound quality on voice calls is good(haven't tried video call yet), wifi worked perfectly connecting to my home network straight away(o2 took weeks after multiple support calls and ROM flashes)and runs at a good speed. Bluetooth also problem free connecting to PC and Stereo Headset.

Overall great product, I have had a few PDA's over the years and this HTC is the best of the lot, regardless of features etc... it seems this product was actually tested before market launch so was glitch free setup and config.

Got myself this tytn II and it's great.
I had the eten glofish m700 and it can't compare with the tytn II. Way better phone a lot faster and no problems unlike the m700 I had. GPS works great with tomtom here in Hawaii. I haven't gotten to try out the other things on the phone yet but I am sure it will go well when I do

O2 XDA ii is very old to compare with Tytn ii. This is much much better; packed with lots of features.

BTW: I'm not sure of the video performance in O2 XDA ii

I own an O2 XDA ii and have had problems with it locking up, hanging and crashing. It always seems to need soft or hard resets. Other than that it is a great phone. I heard that HTC is made by the same manufacturers. Does the HTC TyTNII have similar problems?

Some programs are not meant to be directly installed in the pocket PC. Try to connect your device through active sync and run the exe from the desktop/laptop PC.

I've not installed Skype on PPC. You should try it in the way I've explained. For more info google the web.
