Hey all,
I bought this phone and I am really pleased with it. The only thing is it seems impossible to instal Skype for Windows Mobile. When trying to instal Skype, an error pops up saying the Skype for Windows Mobile file isn't a Windows Mobile file. Has anyone else had this problem, and if so, are there any suggestions to solve it?
Cheers

I guess u'r right, the software you get with your device depends upon the place where you buy it from.
I bought mine from Doha (Qatar). And I also did not receive World Card Mobile (visit card reader) software either. When I enquired with the store I bought the PDA from, he told me that since Arabic was not a supported for World Card software, it is not shipped along in this part of the world.
But my problem is, I need to use the GPS application in India when I go back. So does that mean, I'll have to but the software separately? Or is there a way that I can download the software which I otherwise would've got if I would've purchased the device from somewhere else in the world?
Thnx in advance

Hi Chakri,
There is no need for an external antenna as there is a builtin GPS antenna that comes with tyTn ii. However you have the option of plugging a external GPS antenna (just above the 3MPx camera at the rear) and boost your GPS signal reception.

Atul,
Where did you buy your tytn ii? Usually the GPS s/w that comes with tytn ii varies based on the region (coz the maps for your region needs to be available)
For example in Singapore we get Mapking and not tomtom.

I wouldn't buy ANY HTC model with a Qualcomm chipset.Forthcoming ETEN models have impressive specs-VGA displays, digital tuners, fast CPU's,inbuilt Sirf Star III GPS etc etc.In short, avoid HTC as their is better alternatives...
