HTC have finally pushed their loyal following too far-The camels back is broken!I was appalled when they shipped the HTC Universal,I mean that device was unsatisfactory for over a year! The corporation is just one big rip off.Devices that have GPS modules but no antenna, just so they can bring out the future sets that cost little to develop.TyTN II with no drivers so they can use the same trick again.Give HTC what they deserve-a wave goodbye!

All you need is navigation software,TT is my favourite and works well with the inbuilt GPS.Btw expansys sell cheap yet quality suction mounts.

Their's always bugs in HTC devices.I've owned a few of them and HTC either took an age to release a decent ROM or just didn't fix the problem at all!If it wasn't for xda-developers most HTC owners would have moved on a long time ago.TBH my kaiser preforms to a reasonable standard(TomTom is perfectly acceptable) but knowing video/rendering etc should be better is damn annoying.I'm going to give other manufacturers a try, namely E-TEN.

I just changed my newly bought Nokia E90 to this tytnII. I regret buying the E90, and TytnII is the best of all, supporting my office, travelling, and leasure..although i lost more than RM2k of changing the new E90 phone. The only offset about this TytnII is no flash for camera (so u hv to hold more steady), screen popup only 40 deg (cant put on car dashboard for GPS navigation). Pros; Emails config is automated, internet connection to notebook very easy and fast ( i experience, connection speed is faster than E90), software for TyTnII is abundance, wherelse for E90 very limited..especially games, etc. the Free google map is very compatible to tytnII especially using the inbuilt GPS navigation! i experience, that google map is more updated than the OEM Map king11 came wt the phone (E90 nokia's map is sucks).

Bw@H:
That is the whole point of it!
1). There has been no official fix for the PIE scroll bug, meaning that HTC decided to let XDA solve the problem.
2). Mine performs just like in the video - with original rom, with WWE unmodified rom, with cooked roms by Dutty, by myself; after a hard-reset, before hard-rest, with 20 apps running in the background, or with all of them closed or after a soft reset - I wouldn't be cooking and messing with the firmware unless there were problems. And there are 9000 more people who signed the petition and experience the same lags and HTC did not do anything about it. Don't you think that the fact that some people have laggy Kaisers and some have perfectly normal ones IS a problem?

If anyone has a bunch of air bubbles between your screen and the screen protector, get a new screen protector and this time stick it on right. As follows:>
needed items:
Strong I.D. card (driver's license, credit card, etc.)
A paper towl soaked in dish cleaning soap (to squeez on top of the screen for a smoothed out screen protector; it glides all of the air bubbles out).
Direction: clean screen thourly, and add drops of the soaked towl to the naked screen (but not too much). Then go ahead and place the screen protector on the phone. Use the hard I.d. card to smoothen out any air bubbles. The slipperyness of the soap will glide the air bubbles right.
Enjoy

M@T2:
I no longer have those devices as I left them at home when I moved and I only have the h4150 here with its screen shattered (got into an accident).
There are at least 2 videos on YouTube that I know of that are a comparison of Kaiser with an older PDA side-by-side and here they are:
TomTom demo (mine is that slow, with any demo and any version of TomTom)
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zIJWAu6IRe4
PIE scrolling bug, which has been fixed ONLY in cooked roms!
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7qbaDLzOU_Y
And you can also see lots of videos of touchscreen bugs on YouTube. The device is NOT working properly, and it DOES have the hardware present and enabled as I have said earlier.

oh and how on earth can HTC be top of the manufacturer list? They constantly ship devices that are unfit for purpose.Incomplete Corporation would be a worthy title for this bunch of chancers. All I can say is thank **** for xda-developers.com

When are you dudes going to wake up?HTC will never ever release drivers for the kaiser.THe qualcomm chipset will fulfill it's potential in future HTC devices,it's almost criminal but that's HTC for you!Look they can't even release a device that works to an acceptable standard out the box.Tweaks are needed here there and everywhere and that just for standard operation eg keeping backlight on during a call.HTC need to realise professional people want a pda that works.I know plenty of people who have tried this device and sent it back because it's an unfinished product.Nokia symbians are not as advanced but at least they work!

Ok prove your previous pda's are faster for normal usage(a short video should suffice) and I'll prove otherwise!that said the chip is capable of great things,if only it was enabled...
