Dude the tytn II form factor is not suited to having a large battery!Everyone agrees thst the cpu is very capable.I mean i'm just an average user but everything I throw at this device the cpu responds and I mean RESPONDS.Have you got the tytn II?If so then run slingplayer,skype etc. and you will see what I mean.I've read a bunch of independant reports on this cpu and it's THE best on a device the size of the tytn II.

Oh yes... I nearly forgot. Dual CPU as applied to the Qualcomm MSM7200 processor does not mean two CPUs each of which runs at 400 MHz. Only one of the CPUs is clocked at 400MHz. The second CPU is smaller and runs at a lower rate handling telephony. So it is not to be confused with the dual core CPUs found in desktop computers.

Come off it Harry! If HTC were so concerned about conservation of power, they would have placed a more powerful battery in the device. Look at HP iPAQ 910c. This houses a 1840mAh battery. Yet the device does not even have GPS and the screen is only QVGA! Thank goodness i-mate were willing to go for VGA res. It is the only way users can test whether the spurious claims that the Qualcomm MSM 7200 can easily handle VGA res without lags are true. The proof of the pudding is in the eating!

The reason HTC left out the HR screen was to conserve energy.With GPS,Wi-Fi,HSDPA battery life is short enough!Be in no doubt the superb qualcomm dual cpu could easily manage a VGA LCD.

Hello PJOX, I have read your link on the Qualcomm msm7200 processor. I am afraid that it is glaringly obvious that TyTN II has underused the potential of the processor. They ( Qualcomm ) claim it can capture 6MP images. Camcording is VGA res at 30fps. None of these claims can be tested in TyTN II. Furthermore the lack of VGA res lets the Qualcomm off lightly. Yet there is a new kid on the block that is offering everything TyTN II does but with VGA res; and guess what? It uses the exact same processor. The name of the device is i-mate Ultimate 9502. I-mate have done what HTC were reluctant to do. They have implemented VGA res. This device will really test battery and processor. We will now be able to ascertain whether the Qualcomm is as good as the company claims.

No the quality of the sony ericsson w810 screen is not as good.TyTN II has higher resolution and that is more important than colors.

thanx UipP. Question..i have an old hone SEw810..for way more then a year now..but i noticed it has a 256k screen...now htc got 65 k screen... so the quality of my very old phone is better then this HTC?

Qualcomm produce fabulous chips for instance the qualcomm 7200 chip(used in TyTN II ) supports 133 million 3D pixels per second fill, and up to 4 million triangles per second.IMPRESSIVE

okay..i love this phone's functional purposes..its ability to do almost anything..but I wanna kno from the owners of this phone..me personally..I'm debating between the curve 8320..or this..looking at teh curve based on the qwerty..wifi..some thirtd party apps can be placed..and its slim and stylish..but the HTC is nice..but i found it bigger and heavier than the obvious..whats your take..whcih would be better/look better..

Per HTC's website & my friend's phone, TyTN II does indeed support A2DP Bluetooth Stereo.
Also, I've noticed from this website & others, that when someone want's to dog out a good product & can't find a really good reason to do so, they always fall back on one of two things:
1. It doesn't have a camera.
2. It doesn't have FM radio.
Take your a-- back to school & learn how to design, develop, produce, market test, and release the phone of your dreams! There are a bunch of babies on this website masquerading as adults. Grow up!

Most likely they don't have a data plan. The reason of having a PDA phone without a data plan is beyond me. It's like cutting the function of the phone in half. Might as well get a regular phone and be done with it.

I don't know why everyone is so concerned about FM radio for! FM is lame when compared to what you can get using an online radio. Also if you want to use your own headphones on the kaiser then use a bluetooth headset with a 2.5mm jack connector built in. Job done now this phone kicks ass.
