i was thinking of buying this phone over X8?? is it worth it.

    HI GUYS..I hve been using NOKIA for a ling time but now i wana access net on fone..so i was thinking to but WILDFIRE..but as i heard that it hangs a lot and the batery life is poor..So shld i go for it or shld i go for any other brand..:-)?

      Answer: This phone doesn't support live wallpapers unfortunately :-(

        Answer: Yes it can. Just go to settings->about the phone-> check for updates. You can do the update from any connection wifi/gprs etc. for free. Backup your data.

          Dude, your "personal experience" doesn't validate anything.. And BTW, ARM v6 means version 6, and ARM11, is a version 6 processor, check out the wiki page for it.. Next time, pls do not provide "many sites" as your source of information, provide "real sites"!

                      using it since last 3 mths.
                      love this phone... :)
                      only caveat is the battery life.... :(
                      with 2.2, batt. life is better...
                      but is there really not going to be a 2.3 upgrade?
                      if not, lets all mail the htc corp.(like a petition), requesting an upgrade...

                            Varun, 19 Mar 2011Plz help i bought the phone 1 week ago and the battery last... moreI suppose its still in stock condition I mean no additional app have been installed...let the battery drain out and charge it till green led, do tis 3-4 times if battery doesn't improve then i guess u need to check with HTC...wildfire battery life is satisfactory, with full gprs lasts for 8hrs and minimal usage lasts for 1.5days...

                                      Answer: Android updates are operator dependent. That means, even if an update has come to your phone, to ensure some kind of control over the traffic on their servers, google rolled out updates operator(mobile phone operator like Orange or AT&T) wise..
                                      Just google for the operator you are using whether it has already got an update or not.
                                      Even if you haven't got an update, it should be coming soon. So don't worry.
