is anyone else having trouble with the turn-to-mute and lift-to-dim setting on the wildfire? i decided to turn it on today and when i tested it out, nothing happened. does anyone have a solution to this? it would be much appreciated. thank you in advanced!

thanks for ur suggestion... it worked... thank u... can u guide me which browser is better to download movies cos I have 4 to 5 browsers including dolphin n opera but it tells downloading failed after 20 to 30 mins of download....

quite happy with the phone,fast (fast enough for 500 mhz pro and 380 mb RAM ) and capable of multitasking ( the back button doesn't close apps) . the screen is just ok (for its price ) . great connectivity, fast gps ( 3 sec for possition ).
the big problem for me us the battery ,if I use it more than 3 hours I have to recharge every day, I get a max of 2 days if I use it less than one hour ( 10 min of calls, 10 sms ,40min of browsing internet or just reading a book ).
Considering its price (with a contract its free for 20 P a month ) its a good phone that I recommend

i tried to search those apps in market, bt there r no such apps there...is there any other source...actually i compared my mob cam with my frnds wildfire cam...i found diff in quality of pic...with same settings of both cams...

See it's available on PAYG for £140 on Vodafone!! Only bummer is:- it's out of stock and will be for 3-4 weeks.

Wildfire is loosing out of applications, the latest being SKYPE because of the screen resolution and the processor speed.
Now what to expect out of this???
Skype:
You will need at least 27MB of free memory space on your handset, and the handset should have 600Mhz or more processing power. The supported screen resolutions are 320x480, 800x480 or 850x480.

You need to read a lot on how to do this. first how to root. and after rooting, need to try custom rom.

hello frndz....i hav been using ths handset for 1 week and found it really awesum...once again htc sense rocks.... concern is only about its camera though being 5 mp..its picture quality is worst not upto d mark...
Is this problem with all wildfire user..??? rply plz...
