Anything has changed on camera/sound quality?
I recently bought a mate 20 which is on emui 11, the camera is frankly a disaster ( not sharp, audio really low) was everything better on emui 9?

I have this phone and is still a solid phone. I love its sharp LCD screen, battery and cameras. The only thing that I would complain about is that it never got any android update and is still in android 9.
I want to ask you guys, how would the cameras of this mate 20 compare to the Mi 11 or Mi 11 pro?. I'm considering to switch to one of those or wait for the Xiaomi 12 pro or vivo x80 pro. Would I really benefit from a newer smartphone or I should just keep this for another year?. The most important things to me are the selfie camera and the screen quality.

Having a long lasting battery is great, but unfortunately it comes at a cost. The. emui battery optimaztion is brutal and closes apps left and right in reality you're not using more than 3GB and that is pretty much the only flaw of the phone as far. as. I'm concerned.

Had it for 3.5 years now, going strong. The only complaint is that 4 gb of RAM isn't quite enough, I can typically just keep three apps launched at a time. Hard to find a phone today that has a headphone jack and proper specs that compare to this one, so I'll stick around until it breaks down

I am new to Huawei and recently got the mate 20. Now It’s the end of 2021 and I would say this phone is just wow. Me an apple fanboy for so long, I still keep an android device as my second phone but this mate 20 changed my mind as my iPhone 12 Pro Max is lesser used these days. 🙂

i'm using it since 2019.
i was looking for a reliable mobile phone with Dual Sim, 3.5 head phone port, IR blaster, fast charging feature, good camera, very stable UI, No heat, good premium processor, i dont care about IPS or amoled stuff, i had only found the Mate 20, exactly as i was looking for.
i tried Samasung Note 9, Note 10 Plus ( while using Mate 20), Iphone 6, 7 Plus, etc..
I strongly recommend Mate 20 even in 2021.
I only missed the DSFA feature which was on Mate 8, it allows the 2 Sim card to receive call at the same time, even if the other sim is busy, without diverting stuff.
i rate it 9.3/10.

CorneliusX, 23 Sep 2021Hi which one is better overall? Huawei Mate 20 or Samsung G... moreAvoid Exynos at allcosts as it overheats & throrttles hard, if you cant get the Snapdragon Variant then Specwise Mate 20 is better though without a Pen if its your thing go for the Mate 20.

Anybody that wants to buy this phone late 2021, keep in mind, the replacement screen is out of production, you can confirm this in your nearest huawei service centres, so if the screen croaks, byebye phone.
