The thing I love is that it looks like a HONOR X9A with better cameras from the back and almost like an iPhone from the front, I don't particularly like the face I can see all three sensors, would've been better with a pill cutout or a software pill ( I love the 3d depth scanner to take it away)

wow!!! $2,100 Au is it worth the extra $1,000AU over the Xaiomi 13 Pro ? I doubt it.

I think netizens need to cool down. If mate 60 is good, then it's good.
It's pointless to drag countries down here

It seems that Huawei will revise the number of chips needed for phones for the third time. it is expected that about 60 million chip shipments will take place. They also stopped the 4G contract with Qualcomm globally. I think we can see phones with processors such as 9000s and 830 quietly in the global market in the coming period. Meanwhile, we will see a 5G solution that is more efficient and consumes less energy than 4G and 5.5G mobile systems decently 10 times faster than 5G in the near future.

*And the second is a subscription link where the news cannot be read, which means that it is another new invention of yours to continue bothering and boring you with issues that have absolutely nothing to do with the phone that is being analyzed here.

Since you continue to bother and boring, I have already reported your account.

In regards to the economy, yeah everyone says China is going down hill, heck even I said that, but I already know China can't go down, as the entire world needs China, just as much as the world needs the USA etc...

[deleted post]Well your opening line already tells me you are ideologically motivated and biased. Oh and don't worry, this is the internet and I would be a fool to plainly accept what you say as the truth. Unless you have a credible source aside from "trust me bro", I very much doubt your claims.

I don't really get what you (or your family member) means by "the country is going down". I have seen so many youtube videos claiming the collapse of China and none of them have proven to be true. There were multiple incidents that were supposed to completely destroy the Chinese economy, yet their economic growth continues to be stronger than most others. I am not saying that there are no issues within China; every country has their own problems. However, many of these issues nobody has the right answer (one that completely solves the problem without creating any new ones), so I respect that they're at least trying. Not only that, but it seems like whatever they're doing, it's working out better than whatever the West is doing.

I am very skeptical of your "insider information" as TechInsights reported that the Kirin 9000s was designed and manufactured in China. There is a die shot on Tom's Hardware and I challenge you to find a matching chip. Not only that, but certainly every chip company out there will be checking it to make sure it doesn't match one of their products. The SK Hynix RAM being old stock could be true, and it would explain why they were able to get it despite the sanctions. They could just be trying to get rid of old stock (from before sanctions) while building a new inventory from domestic producers. Everything else, however, I doubt they would go through the trouble of rebranding because China already has the ability to make other types of chips, including RAM and flash memory, which do not require the most advanced process nodes. Not only that, but why rebrand everything except for the RAM, and upon discovery of this "error", why not fix it or abandon the idea of rebranding altogether? It just doesn't make sense...

I also find it awfully ironic that you despise the Chinese government so much and yet you trust your "insider information" so readily, without any supporting evidence. Are you sure it's not just what you want to hear?

After couple of days of usage, I can say it is excellent mobile. Progress in HarmonyOS is amazing too. Everything works smooth. Some Google Apps can be installed directly, and some can be used by using GBox or GSpace. GSpace can be downloaded from AppGallery. If you addicted by Google, probably the mobile is not for you.

GUNNERS, 05 Oct 2023Stop talking for nothing All the GAFAMs have been pinned ... moreLiterally, Uptin a former CNBC journalist interviewed a person living in iceland and that person states that the reason why iceland is relying on Huawei on their 5g is that the US also spies on European leaders without their concent, and China is no different, so it only matters what country you want to be spied on.

I sure hope every government has at least some control over the companies; otherwise their population is just ripe for plunder. Anonymous, 04 Oct 2023According to all the information they have, might’ve stated... moreAfter clicking on his videos and reading your comment about how you think he is "correctly educated" I literally laughed out loud. Dude, you guys can't make it any more obvious what your political agenda is.

First of all, all but a small fraction of that video even talks about the Mate 60 (don't let the length of the "Mate 60" chapter fool you). The video is clearly anti-china propaganda with the Mate 60 used as a keyword to get people to click on the video. But of course if you're at all familiar with the two in the video, you don't need me to tell you that; you will have realized it within the first second of the video.

The content of the stuff they say isn't particularly credible either. They show a couple cases of the phone hanging but quite frankly, that happens to every phone and we have no idea what prior events took place before that video was taken. I too can overload my phone to the point where everything is sluggish as hell. I can also peel my screen protector a little bit on the corners and edges. There is a good chance that these Tiktoks are just people trying to cash in on the hype of the phone, as is the case with social media everywhere. I would give the claims some more credit if they bothered to try to restart the phone and could recreate the situation on camera. The only thing I agree could be improved on is the ads. Talking to people from China (the intended market of these phones), it seems that they don't really care for the ads and just ignore them. However, for someone who is not used to it like myself, it was really jarring at first. It may be a cultural thing but I think in general the removal of these ads will improve the polish and user experience.

I skimmed through the video and that's all the stuff relevant to the Mate 60 I found. Either way, I couldn't stomach propaganda coming from these two any longer anyway.

Is the performance exaggerated? Perhaps. However, at the same time, we don't know if further software optimizations is holding back the real potential of the chip. Having the ability to use hyperthreading also means you have to deal with all the problems it introduces. But who is making these claims about the performance of the chip? It certainly isn't the Chinese government nor Huawei. In fact, there continues to be very little official news about the phone. Reuters published an article on September 25 (after Huawei's event) talking about how people were disappointed that more wasn't said about the Mate 60. So whatever exaggerations you see is basically just people getting excited and touting Huawei's progress. Unless Huawei breaks the silence on the Mate 60 and Kirin 9000S, I would take all the claims on the internet with a grain of salt.
