      Today i called the customer service and gave them all the information in the mobile as well as my mobile number they asked and the carrier name.

      He told me he will escalate my request to the technical team so they will push Android version 8 update directly to my mobile very soon.

      How is the feedback about 9 pie version? do you have any idea?

        Ok about my camera no focus issue i tried knocking my camera and hitting its face and it kinda worked but it seems like a temporary solution. Any suggestions how to solve permanently or the issue reason?

          The C636 build users can provide information about the latest available version. Please try with HiSuite on PC after doing factory reset. If it does not work, you can try contacting official Huawei Service Center for further assistance.

Since you are running EMUI5, it should be something similar to former. You can try Hi suite on PC to see if you are able to update it. I am not sure about EMUI9, but EMUI8 should readily available for all the Mate 9 models.

                        Anyone else getting screen ghosting with there mate 9? Ghosting as in screen burn in, but since it's a lcd it goes away after the screen is off for some time

                          I did what you mentioned but no updates so far. now i just reset and will let you know.

                            running pie update from last few days and I just love it, much fast and responsive as compare to emui 8. the feature I loved most is gesture based navigation.
