I hi habé a stupid problem with this phone, it works great, battery last long enough and the pictures are very nice, but every single morning the google chrome and google photos are installed, I deactivate them and next day there they are again, I tried to block the auto update on the store but no help, it just keeps activating the dam apps, I use the native Gallery app and Edge Browser, for photo backup I have OneDrive so no need for those 2 apps and they do mess up my pre definitions if i let them be.
Any help on this?

It was 12% and I put it on charge when it goes to 73% then this message came in front of the screen
(Charging stop for your own safety make sure USB port is not wet)
Than it reduce to 70% and after 1 minute the phone went off, is no longer coming on and not charging too.
Am using P20 pro now but my love is in the mate 9. I want it to work what do i do? Or how do I get the motherboard to replace it?

Anyone here upgraded to EMUI9.1? have you feel and see anything new after the upgrade? because i didnt notice anything beside my camera app showing lesser features on top of the main page. and icons because square shape. what else? i cant find anymore. and worse, my phone slower than before. whats a shame huawei.

The Mate 10 use the same charger and the same 5A cable. You can use them on your Mate 9 to see if it's getting the super charging.

Its just that i observed lately that it charges longer than usual and I noticed that the status is Charging only and not Supercharging anymore. Using this same charger to my wife's Mate 10, Supercharging is working on her phone. Is there a setting on my phone that i changed? Kindly advise. Thank you.

If your phone is MHA-L29 or MHA-L09, we won't have Android 9 update as yet. Our phones are so called "Overseas Version". No Android 9 update insight. All we can do is wait.

Those 5A cables have purple color connectors, i.e. the blue color for the USB 3.0; the white for the USB 2.0. It's the cable's problem. That's all there is to it.

Anyone here experiencing that the supercharging is not working anymore? I can only see the normal Charging status. I tried my wife's Mate 10 to charge on my Mate 9 charger and she gets the supercharging; so the charger is not the issue. Any advice? Thanks.

I bought the phone on release and I have not received one update, not for the Android software and not for EMUI. I spoke with online support via the HiCare app and they basically told me that Huawei and the phone carriers in Argentina made a deal to not allow updates through because the phone is not available in Argentina by the phone carriers. My phone is fully unlocked. I bought it in New York. This is ridiculous. I am never buying another Huawei product because of that shady move. I can't even update with FirmwareFinder. I'm still on the factory version of the Mate 9.
