Huawei nova 7 sales kick off in China, but phones may ship next week

The new Huawei nova 7 trio is now available in China as the first official sale kicked off at 10:08 local time after a few days of pre-orders. However, Vmall lists the shipping date as “before May 6”, so if you buy now you may not get your phone until next week.
Model | 8/128GB | 8/256GB | Stores |
Huawei Nova 7 SE 5G | CNY 2,400 | CNY 2,800 | Vmall, JD |
Huawei Nova 7 5G | CNY 3,000 | CNY 3,400 | Vmall, JD |
Huawei Nova 7 Pro 5G | CNY 3,700 | CNY 4,100 | Vmall, JD |
There’s no sign that he new nova 7 phones will be available outside of China anytime soon. And if they do go global, they may change their name first. The Huawei P40 Lite, for example, is a rebranded nova 6 SE. The 6 SE is also available as the "nova 7i" in Malaysia, so the novas aren't exclusive to China.

The Honor V30 (not Honor 30) series was expected in Europe but it’s yet to arrive – they may not have the periscope cam of the nova 7 Pro, but the V30 duo still offers a great camera experience and a flagship Kirin 990 chipset. Of course, none of the nova 7, P40 and V30 phones have GMS, they run Huawei’s alternative instead.
