I just bought 2 days ago a P10. I am satisfied except for the battery which drains very quickly when data and wifi is on with minimal to normal usage. I called the customer care and referred me to their service center for replacement. But when I spoke to the agent, he said they will only replace the battery. I was very disappointed and they are not friendly. I had not choice but to leave my unit at the service center. I called up again their customer care and raised complaint that I want replacement. I don't know what will happen now. This is my first huawei phone. I have samsung a3 2017 with 2350mah capacity for more than a year now and this p10 has 3200 mah, the samsung a3 has significantly a much better and longer battery life. I hope Huawei will give me what I deserve.

Does anyone have any inputs on how it's been to use a year on? How is EMUI with regards to security updates? It seems like the last of fairly compact phones without a notch and with a fingerprint reader in the front with a very useful navigation function built into it. Any issues with the fingerprint/home/navigation button/hardware?

Well two of my friends have P10 and I noticed how strongly IP adjust photos( some of them not natural at all). I know P10 is better at night. But as Honor 10 has the same +/- 20 scenes auto settings I doubt both of them are right choices. Unlless it is possible to get good photos without using auto-settings. Most reviewers say iphone 7 and p10 photos are at the same level, but I find ip7 to be more natural.

TT, 14 Sep 2018Is Huawei P10 or Honor 10 better when taking photos at d... moreI would say they are quite similar. I do not have experience with Honor 10 but 8 instead. H8 and P10 photos are hard to tell the difference apart. Photos from each of them occasionally look better then from the other phone. The only real difference from my pov is in the additional leica colour switch at the top bar in P10. This boosts contrast and saturation. Since I'm using P10 I find myself very rarely doing any postprocessing other then resising or cropping and my photos get sharing quicker.

Dido, 01 Sep 2018I used to love my Huawei P10 but its 1st of September today... moreI've also haven't received oreo update yet and my security patch is January 2018. The reason for this is my phone is so called "branded" phone and locked to one particular mobile operator eventhough I bought it sim free with no contract. This operator is blocking or delaying huawei's updates. This might be the case with yours too. Contact customer service and they will check it for you

One of the best phone i have ever used after oreo update faceunlock is enabled batery time is great leica lense always give me decent picture quality never hang never lag recommended phone. Using since 1 year still performance is perfect

I used to love my Huawei P10 but its 1st of September today and I am still not getting Android oreo update or security update at least, my patch is since july 2017 its real shame !!!!!!!!!! Very bad if talking about updates otherwise a good phone
