                  This device will get emui 11 and there is support app too.
                  At least this is better than xiaomi for customer support, or you may end up paying so much for something like Apple Care.

                    Great mobile, btw all apps from the old mobile was transferred to p40 pro and the only Netflix was not working, but after installing from another market is working perfectly.

                      Maybe its AI chip learning our usage pattern when using it first time (for battery optimizing purpose), after a while it goes to normal.

                        So my wife has transitioned from P30 Pro to P40 Pro earlier this week and the change was more straightforeward than we expected.
                        Phone clone took less than 20 mins.
                        Of the apps that were copied access only Wear OS failed to work - some complained about google play services not being available but worked anyhow.
                        Petal maps was not installed by default but now seems to work ok.
                        The device received 3 software updates totalling around 8gb - ending up with EMUI 11.
                        Setting the Huawei ID was a little awkward.

                        So off to a good start, less adverts it seems.

                            Amazing device. Great battery life, very good screen, amazing cameras and photo quality. I did not have any trouble with update and quality of photos. Lack of GMS is a flaw, but it can be bypassed by a lot of apps, and little bit of work around. I have had a Android One phone, before this, and didnt have any trouble changing the OS

                              Guys I'm experiencing heavy battery drainage on Xperia XZ I just bought it is 2nd hand and they upgraded it to Oreo eish can someone assist me here? Another problem is its battery is non replaceble

                                    Being confused with N1 cameraphone 2020 nomination I was going through the cameraphone reviews and seeing nothing but disappointment. Until reaching P40 Pro. (And I'm a mainstream user, not planning to get Huawei in a foreseen future). It truly deserves #1 spot in cameraphones:
                                    - All three cameras are excellent during daylight.
                                    - Ultrawide cam quality is unreachable by the competitors, both day and night.
                                    - Main and tele night shots are acceptable, not much worse than from the nightshot leaders.
                                    I can admit that Night Mode is bad. But how often you have still scenery to use it for?
                                    As a side note, P30 Pro had a little better main and tele cameras. But its ultrawide is as bad as everyone's else.

I had Oneplus but back when it was 1+1, after that I had Sammy, LG, Motorola etc, never iPhone. I don't get what's the point of ruinning something that works very well ? Anyway... if you don't forget about this post, keep me update if they fixed the problem. Like I said before, my P40 Pro is it's in own box, never going to use it again until they fix the apps problem.

I experienced worst on bunch of Sony Xperia flagship phone. Worst quality after every major update (newer Android) and they never bother to fix it. Same things goes to Oneplus, iphone (after long term of updates) & other company. Happens to my older Mate 20 as well, but then its been fixed on next update.

                                        This is their first stable EMUI 11 update. Lets wait another one or two OTA update. If they still not fixing it, then they deserves to be mocked.
