Anonymous, 10 Jun 2010my ultimate 9502 it just shut down by itself and it's not w... moreit could be that the contacts on the battery are not good. the phone will show a red light even if you don't put the battery and charge. So, clean the battery contacts on the battery and on the phone, and lift the battery contacts using a pin and it might work.

BMNADA, 13 Jun 2010My Imate started over heating then stopped charging,replace... moreHave you put your own apps or plugins on the device? They can keep the device running and make it warm. Try factory resetting the phone in the settings menu or could be be need a new battery.

My Imate started over heating then stopped charging,replaced USB charging port but did not charge insteady it discharges very fast in less than 2 hours with alot of heat.Any solution

my ultimate 9502 it just shut down by itself and it's not working at all,, i did put it for charge for more than 24 hours but the light still red and still shuting down...
can anybody tell me what to do or where can i send it for fix?
where's the main i-mate company so i can contact them?

You just need to install MS ActiveSync 4.5 or later. Then connect the i-mate to the PC. It will be discovered and you can then setup syncing for files, emails, calendars, etc.
You should be able to see the files on the i-mate though without having to install ActiveSync. When you connect it to the PC, it should see a new device, which will be like a memory card, or hard disk. You can expand the olders and copy files to and from it.
