New security patch was released some days ago. My phone updated and this time, I had not a single sign of instability, weird behaviours or constant reboots. =)

Azam, 29 Aug 2022Buy this shit Phone Auto restart and overheating issues Don... moreYour phone has probably some issue in regards of overheating. I have one for over a month and it works as expected.
The "auto-restart" thing is probably the same issue I had after major updates on the phone, like XOS 7.6 to XOS 10, security patches and stuff. After some resets, it became stable and works normaly.
Other than that, I recomend you to unninstal updates of XOS Launcher and Phone Master. Both becomes infested of ads and spams, being XOS the most problematic of all (lags and even total freezing of the main screen). Doing this and also disabling "Zero screen" makes the phone almost 100% rid of spams. Touch the main screen and hold until options are shown > Menu > Other settings > turn "Zero screen" off / Menu > Search settings > disable "promotion".

GH, 31 Aug 2022Bought Zero X Pro yesterday and I am already regretting. Th... moreIf you read some of my not-too-old posts down here, you will see my experience with the phone and I can say that I had the very same issues you had.
I installed all updates and security patches available so far and my phone also restarted several times after that, until it became stable. No more issues nor weird behaviour so far.
I've been using mine for over a month. It's a very good phone overall if you don't count these unconvenient issues.
Here are some useful hints for you:
Touch the main screen and keep pressing until options appears.
1) Go to Menu > Other settings > turn "Zero screen" off = You will disable useless spam and ads.
2) Go to Menu > "Search settings" > disable "Promotion" = Less spam/ads again.
On the folder with all apps, select the 3 dots at the upper-right corner and disable "Instant apps" = remove/hide all nonsense game apps launchers, which also do spam/ads.
When updating your apps, don't update "XOS Launcher" and "Phone Master". Why?
-> XOS Launcher starts to lag until it freezes the phone, but also comes with an abnormal quantity of spam and ads. Avoid updating it at all cost.
-> Phone Master get too invasive, with spams, ads and weird stuff all the time, even while other apps are running full screen.

Bought Zero X Pro yesterday and I am already regretting. Thought it would be running on XOS 7.6 which is already tried, tested and stable but the new phone came with XOS 10. After setup, noticed that the phones UI was not working properly (not showing all options like brightness control etc). Thought the system update might help since it was already on XOS 10.
After update to the latest security patch june 2022 there's a new problem. Everytime I restart my phone it stucks in a bootloop kind of thing, means it keeps restarting for like 5 to 7 times before settling up. Is it happening to anyone else here? After XOS 10 update may be?
Very upset with this pathetic phone.

It seems to look like a flagship device, but it's just budget-midrange level, though they'd better use a Snapdragon chipset to make it more competitive with other phone brands.

Most recent security and Google updates Palm ID (similar to MI Account on Xiaomi phones) to Infinix ID. You must create an account, log in and reset the phone again. It will work as a cloud for some files and phone numbers. Aside from that, I didn't noticed any other changes on software or apps after the update.

ahmad, 30 Jul 2022bokeh video or photos not available in the moblieLet me correct you. It can do bokeh videos in 1080P/30fps with both main and selfie cameras. It also has a slide control that allows you to control the amount of effect you want on video.
The funny part is that even if there's no native bokeh photos, the phone allows you to take pictures while filming a bokeh video, so you have pics with the effect.

Just got mine today. XOS 10 is already available for it, as well as major updates, security patches and bug fixes. Everything is stable and running smooth. So far so good.
