Don't worry if your phone's battery is draining very fast (also excessive heating) after updating to Oreo. After 7-10 days it will be back to normal. Actually even lenovo had warned that there will be temporary shortened battery life after updating to Oreo. My phone is back to normal now after 7-8 days.

Please dont update your phone to Oreo. It drains the battery as if a thirsty vampire found a human. And it heats up so much that u can simple break an egg over it any time to have a quick snack.

I just bought the phone, for me it is definitely fine, the heat is not that terrible, of course you have to minimize the number of opened app in order to reduce the speed, and for the battery capacity, I find it normal, it depends on your usage of how fast the battery drains.
out of 10, I rate it 9/10 :)

After the recent update of software in Lenovo K8 Note, the battery seems drain very quickly. I do not need this update. Please provide me the unupdated version of your software.

After updating lenovo k8 note to Oreo, battery back up is very bad. In spite of using turbo charger, it takes more than 5 hours to charge completely. The battery drains out very quickly.

K8 note is getting heater from ever since I bought it .After oreo update it is more worst than frst without switching on data we can browse charging capacity is decreasing getting heated over charging

The phone's battery performance has slightly improved now after 7 days after updating to oreo. Just after updating the phone's performance was horrible. It was giving just 2 hours screen on time. Now it's improving.
Even Lenovo has warned that there will be temporary shortened battery life (for 7-10 days) after the update. Hoping for the best !!

Before installing Oreo I decided first I will read some complement but thanks to all of you I never update my phone because I doesn't want to power and heating issue in my lenevo k8😂😂😂😂😂

Omg don't buy this phone very horrible experience... Facing heating issue, when charging or in call it goes to its maximum 46℃ and phone charge draining very fast and its been switched off in few hours. I don't know what to do with this mobile

Android 7.1.1 was too good in Lenovo K8 Note, but after getting oreo update my phone is almost ruined. Nothing is working good. Starting from Camera, backup, charging time, network issues, frequent hanging and also slow charging. Perhaps Lenovo has not tested this update before rolling out. Can I fix these issues at my end? Because, I have reset my phone twice, but not got any good result. Is there any legitimate solution for this?

Battery is dying rapidly after Oreo update in my phone.
Fon is getting hot after normal use and while charging.
Charging is taking very long with turbo charge
Fon has become slow
Kindly help.
