There are only three problems with this phone: a bit slower at times (but not too slow), terrible camera in low light, old Android version.
Otherwise it puts every new release to shame, especially for the price. Amazing battery life feels SO GOOD, It will be a long wait for a worthy replacement...

Lenovo p2a42 has mega battery in the side of battery it is a beast , display also It has a quality in it because it has a super amoled display ,in the side of processor in my opinion it sometime it has lag but that is not a big lag , in the side of camera when we are taking normal photos it is good but when we zoom and take photos it is not clear , in side of selfie camera it is a good opinion
But the wieght of the phone is a little bitter heavy , when we use internet sometime it have lag these all are the my opinion about Lenovo p2a42

Motorola is supposed to release the Moto g 5g in the near future. It's codenamed "motorola kiev" if you wanna google it. Oled screen, snapdragon 690, sd card, nfc, 6gb ram and 5000mah battery. Looks like this could be the one to fill the gap where the p2 used to be. After all the p2 was made my motorola so I'm crossing my fingers.

Moreover, that depends if u have a locked bootloader or unlock.
Could be a hardware issue though.

Try that one. Should help. For me personally i like custom rom, seems to work great for me. The link i sent u is for stock rom flashing.

Could be a rom issue or mb the battery is failing. Been Using mine for like 3 years now.
The only time i have encountered such issue is when mb i flash something to the rom or certain update stuff.
Clean install usually solve the problem for me whenever encountered.

Yes exactly, atimes it won't even boot past Lenovo logo before it switch off again, when I charged it ,it would show charging percentage and switch off again, doing this repeatedly for like 10 times or more before eventually getting stable for charging till it reaches 100% , when I tried to turn it on, it shows Lenovo logo and shuts down again. i'm guessing the stock is either corrupt or the battery terminals are not properly connected

I've been using Lenovo p2 for almost 3years without any issue, but 3 days ago my phone shuts down by itself and I tried to power it back on, only for it to show the logo and shut down again, I tried charging it, it's showing charging at 71% and shuts down, doing this repeatedly, what do I do

That samsung galaxy M51 looks very tempting to buy. So far I'm resisting, becouse I did buy new P2 few months ago with custom android. If I did knew at the time of purchase that samsung would release such phone I would probably have waited and not got second P2.

Been using this device since September 26. 2017. One of the best budget smartphone i have bought. Got it brand new for $212 usd.
Battery still going strong, I haven't replace any part of the device since purchase.
I do not game on mobile devices and battery last 2-3 days or more with average of 6hrs sot, sometimes 8 depending on my usage.
Probably the device is going strong mb because i use other phones as well including p30 pro, iphone 8 plus, 1+5, RN9 pro and others.
M51 seems like a good alternative but the current price at my region is around $400 which is like menh!
am not sure of retiring my P2 any time soon but if needed be, I be considering M51, Realme C15 or Realme V5.
Never own a Realme device once, could be nice having one.
After using device with 5000 mah, it's really hard to look back on other smartphones with less mah.
I feel like purchasing 1+5 was like a terrible mistake cuz the battery struggle to last a single day on full charge. For my P30 pro, despite having 4200 mah, the chipset is very power efficient and battery last well.
Funniest of all was that, I'm making this post using my P2.🔋Champ.

The P2 was an awesome device at its time and I still love it very much. I was using it since 3 years but due to heavy usage had to replace battery. Unfortunately the technician was not not properly qualified and mobile went dead. Finally after a long wait and thorough search in market I found a perfectly worthy successor, the Samsung M51! I'm so happy as it is a perfect replacement. Huge 7000 MAH battery, 6gb Ram/128gb in base model, 25Watt fast charging, 6.7" superamoled+ screen, snapdragon 730g powerful processor, 64mp quad camera sensor with Sony Sensor. All this at awesome price of Indian rupees 23,000 (USD 315). What more is required for us P2 users, nothing! Thanks Samsung.

But speaker changed once.otherwise best phone.
