I have checked the specs of Lenovo P770 no where mention as it has pre installed Google maps and play store.
Could you pls confirm itis there in P770?

Am using this phone since a week, and I should tell you its AMAZING phone overall with an budget price for 13k.
1GB ram with Dual-core 1.2 GHz Cortex-A9. its great.
The clarity for the phone is amazing especially watching HD videos makes a good views...
I took few camera shots during day and night, it really gave better picture clarity, even zooming to extent, its really gave a 8mp quality shots...during flash works good upto 10-15 feet the pictures came well beyond not so good as the ones which shot close...however it depends how much lighting you have apart from flash.
Experiencing the touch sense its great! well its new phone on market i was doubting about the feel, but it won my heart...its great!
Lenovo cameup with really good smartphone... but i was disappointed with the quality of the charger...though its detachable was expecting a better quality ones...and also a PC sync software isnt there.
Overall..pictures..video clarity is SUPERB... handling the phone its great.. voice clarity is good...Keyboard is something appreciable... because I was using BB9300, the key touch is great!
Overall I give good rating for this phone... and also recommend others go for it.!

I ordered the phone on 13 march and expected to get it on 20th march.
Anyone pls tell me is it included a protection case in the box. if not, from where can I find one?
In my area(malappuram, kerala) its difficult find one

cikok, 15 Mar 2013p770 vs s890 better where? Every body please reply it thxS890 is the phone which made me consider Lenovo as an option itself. Really liked its spectacular looks.
But finally bought the P770 for the following reasons.
1)Straight price advantage of 2500 Rs of P770 over S890.
For a new brand like Lenovo in mobile it was a big difference.
2) Although S890 has a bigger screen then P770 the screen resolution is same. So the PPI of P770 of 245 is better than that of S890.
3) OTG cable was a not a requirement from my side but thought of it as a bonus. It really works. Was able to access files from my friends phone.
4) The ability to charge other devices and of course other phones can be really handy.
5) Last but not the least is the battery life. Although the battery app shows talk time of 10 hours against advertisement of 30 hours. The phone has awesome battery. Compared it with my friends phone. Its just awesome. Even with full day activity of games and web browsing you will have enough battery left for next day.
6) As I already own a good camera 3 MP advantage of S890 over P770 was not considered. Even with 5 MP the image quality is good enough. The front camera should also suffice for Skype calling.
Although S890 has stunning looks over P770 (although I find P770 looks more muscular ) took P770 as definitely know that 1 month down the line when the phone will loose its new factor the battery life is what I will be looking for.

Lennovo p770 doesnt have digital compass,therefore will it show problem with google map,if yes please reply.

Surprise Surprise Surprise
I got this phone with knowledge that it does not have gyroscope and will not be able to play temple run 2. Installed Temple Run 2 and to my surprise it was able to take the tilt input from the phone. This opens up multiple other games which i thought will not be able to play.
Negative:
Installed Real Racing 3 on my phone and it got installed. While launching it notified me that it requires a space of approx 1700mb which my phone did not have. As the internal space of 4 GB is divided into internal storage and internal USB games such as real racing 3 cannot be installed. There are few tricks on the net to copy to games to the External SD Card and run them.
While purchasing the phone did not knew that the apps cannot be readily installed on external SD Card. Yes there are work arounds but as of know will be using it only to store files.
