Thks for the fantastic update on the p770 availibility in alfa at irla. The phone is really hard to get in mumbai or online for that matter of fact. I just had some additional questions regarding the purchase from alfa.
1 how much did u pay at alfa for the p770?
2 do they have a display piece at alfa???
3 are the usual google apps and google play installed?? There is still confusion on this.
4 were u able to import the contacts from ur old phone wothout any hassels??
5 is the battery able to last 2 days with 3g on throughout?
6 does the cell phone feel very heavy due to the monster battery?
Big thks in advance. I intend to buy this very shortly.........

Good quality sound
Good Display .....
Google Navigation works very fast [Kerala].
It gets heating while making a call , except everything is good.

my p770 says that talk time available was 10 hrs. maybe the remaining 20 hrs means that the whole battery life, without using wifi or whatsoever.... well, that's my opinion....

1. How many hours a full charged battery lasts,while using wifi,playing games etc.
2. Does it support Compass Application from google play
3. Have u noticied any heating problems,while using wifi or playing games etc.
4. Have u found any draw-backs with this mobile?

Talk time after full charge: 10 hours instead of 30 hours. Did not complain as still it was more than other smart phones out there.

really confused between Xolo Q800 and Lenovo P770.Xolo has lot of sensors compared to P770 and it has Quad core processor.BUt what iam really worried about is Battery Life,whether Xolo's battery 2100 mah can last for a day,when compared to P770's 3500mah.
Anyone Please suggest.

Great review. can you do new review after using it for the past few days. How the battery life is, is there Google play, using external hdd, charging other phones with otg usb, how the camera is, charging time, nags.....that you can only tell after a few days of use and after your fascination for the gadget goes off and you are able to assess it more objectively. Since you have done an elaborate research, do you regret your decision on getting this phone and what would you like to get if you are not happy with this

I have started using this phone for the past 3 days.
The advantages are:
1. Good Display Clarity.
2. 5MP cam equal to 8MP pictures.
3. Usage speed.
4. Battery Backup. (Tested by using it for 13 hrs of full internet, games and Apps installation.)
5. Picture and HD Video playing or viewing quality.
Disadvantages are:
1. Low internal / USB memory.
2. Will take some time to understand the features.

Been using this fone for about 4 days now. So far so good. User friendly and looks like i will never worry about losing power in the course of a day. I'm wondering though why talk time is only 8 hrs after a full charge instead of 29 hrs. Face unlock works and its kind of cool. ;) Thanks Lenovo. Been looking for such a simpler dual sim phone that i can use the whole day and night and thru dawn hours. Will never hesitate to buy this fone again if i have to.

Lenovo P770 supports capturing FullHD(1080P) and half HD(720p) photos as well. And you can take multiple clicks(photos) without any delay. Just hold the camera click icon for long and it takes multiple pics .And my personal favourite is 'Scheduled power on and off' feature. With this I can get my phone switched off for sometime and save battery and for a set time it will power on its own...:)
