I guess you could rest them on a post or fence or use a tripod to avoid shaky blurring in low light. Are you happy with the Mi ads they push to your phone, do you actually buy anything from those third party vendors?

This is a good phone if priced 250USD or below for the low quality camera.
If not, better go with the Mi 9 or Mi note 10

No crashes, unanticipated re-booting or other issues experienced. Camera, WiFi, cell, sound, charging, display, menu, smooth scrolling, etc. all work fine. Added a new theme, wallpapers, may be more that I haven't discovered. Seems like it drains less power but I always got long battery life on this phone. No hangups installing. No reason not to update for better efficiency and security.

Unless you really need a language other than those two, I would stay with the Chinese/English version as it has a much faster update cycle. I know there are some hacked "International" ROMs out there but most seem to be just early versions with a Microsoft language pack added. You can download a language pack yourself for use with MS apps if you like rather than rely on a third party implementation.

By the way, if you have the Z6 or Z5 phones you can go to the Lenovo China forum and register for access to their Beta tester program. It is all in Chinese but I guess you can use Google Translate. Lots of interest by techies there.

eddydeniro, 27 Dec 2019Z6pro or Vivo IQOO Neo 855? I'm looking for a budget devic... moreI bought my Lenovo Z6 Pro in October and use the Chinese+English firmware. I use the phone only in China where the cellular bands fully cover all three national carrier 4G, systems (China Mobile, Unicom and Telecom.)

Lenovo has released a 5G version of the Z6 Pro here and it is the lowest priced option for full 5G variant compatibility.

Phones like OnePlus offer more bands and are a better choice for places like the US that uses them, but here that would be superfluous.

On activation I got three immediate OS - ZUI updates pushed to the phone to bring me fully up-to-date with Android 9. In December I had two updates. The first brought the phone to Android 10 and the second seems to be an Android 10 security and ZUI functionality update. I also use a Google Pixel 3 and thought I would have to deal with slow updating but I really have give credit to the Lenovo engineers for pushing timely and useful updates out. Other Chinese manufacturers like Xiaomi do push a lot of updates out but most of those are bloatware and adware as they get revenue that way. The Lenovo phone is great not just for the class leading hardware but for keeping all the nonsense out unless you really want it.

If the phone bands work where you are and you want a near flagship phone specced with 8/128GB for under US$300 you really should consider the Z6 Pro.

LEEDAQ, 22 Apr 2019no ois ???I recently bought the Lenovo Z6 Pro.
I'm not bothered using NFC to be honest.
There is no wireless charging either, which I'm also not bothered with either.
The phone is very snappy, fast as anything I've used.
                                      Liquid cooling.
Amazing camera, photo quality better than anything I've used too.
It's running almost pure Android, which I love.
                                      This phone cost me €330.
Probably the cheapest phone I have bought, usually pay upwards of €700/800 .
To be honest it's been the best I have owned to date for less than half the price.

Z6pro or Vivo IQOO Neo 855?
I'm looking for a budget device with good spec atleast not more than $400 bucks. Just bought p30 pro, just need something to pair with.

Initially i wanted to go for realme x2 but only to find out that VOLTE isn't supported by the operators at my region Russia which is a let down for me. They promised to support it in future which likely, might happen or may not. I had the same issue with lenovo P2 which I'm still using till date with the help of custom rom.

I'm not into gaming, just looking for a good mid range device with Ok camera, as to be expected from these type of devices, battery life. Good display such as super amoled, no IPS, not interested.

I understand that with these kind of devices, u only get if possible one major os update.

What are your taught guys on these 2 devices, both support VOLTE out of the box carriers in my region so no issue.

Not to mentioned, SD855 is more power efficient than SD 730G as it uses HMP.

Lastly, if these devices get updated to Android 10 with darkmode support, u get benefit of more power efficiency with super amoled display than IPS as i understood.
