Redesigned interface with lots of... moreHelo sir, i have the same unit of lg g2 mini as yours, i tried to upgrade using ota but there's this error "0x1111004" during installing the software. did you restore your phone to factory setting before you upgrade it?

Updated to lollipop 5.0.2 via OTA.
I think ram is better but battery drains faster.
Completed the update but there is this 'Currently unable to download. Please try again later.' always showing on screen. Don't know what that is for. Is it for google apps?
Also updated some apps. Some of the previously installed apps are not compatible.
Update seems fine, but I still think previous version is better.

xconcepts7, 06 Jul 2015i updated my G2 mini yesterday to android L and it made my ... moreIs your message "currently unable to download..." then you have to stop utomatic apps apdate on ggogle play store or check if you have any not-downloaded MMS. For those who are still hesitated about the update belive me you don't need it, I felt the phone software as been downgraded after the update; Kitkat wasfar away better.

i updated my G2 mini yesterday to android L and it made my worst android experience.. updated my apps.. some went good.. some sucks..! need to update google play services but it just keeps downloading, redownloading, installing, reinstalling over and over again.. and error messages keeps on flashing.. "com.google.??? is not responding" keeps showing in my screen that i cant even navigate the phone unless i close the notification.. imagine closing the pop up before making an on screen selection..?!?! so annoying.. ended up with factory reset.. fuck this..!
after reset, update apps again then, it went fine.. i downloaded all my apps again.. after that, the only problem i got again is when i activated google now, a pop up notification saying "you dont have internet connection" something like that, and it wont go away, so i restarted the phone.. damn! so many flaws.. they should have tested the update first before releasing..

You need to unroot your LG G2 mini in order to upgraded to 5.0.2,that is for sure. But just uninstalling is not enough, you need to flash it back to its original status.

Lollipop update is great. Redesigned interface with lots of new features. What i like best is battery life last longer than ever. But i cant find the screenshot settings, does anyone know where did the settings go or its removed in lollipop update? D618 from philippines. Btw, update is via OTA and not via pc suite. 798mb exact file size update :)

I received an update on my g2 mini phone awhile ago, after downloading the software, my phone restarted and installation took place, after a minute an error occur and it didnt continue on updating. anyone can help please?

this handset is so useful to me and has beautiful design
for its low cost price I enjoy to use an android phone
thanks for LG for making this one.
for the right size of screen I can use it with one hand.
also the 3g connectivity makes me happy to browse the internet more smooth and the battery was great.

mmmmm, 26 Jun 2015y is it says to the specs 8gb but in actual it has only 3.s... moreIt is because of the os/software. If u buy any smartphone u will never get full memory of rom this is because space is required for the software of the device to run on it.
