I created an account here just to share my experience using LG G5. Amazing!!! Previously I was using Sony Xperia Z1, good set, but it took no Android updates after Android 5, the battery was poor and after two years of use it really sucked. Went to buy Samsung Note 7, not yet launched but my Xperia was giving me utter trouble. Thought why not try LG G4 beacause G5 has reduced the screen size! Anyway, finally bought LG G5.
1. Only 2800 MaH battery, thought will drain out supporting 1440x2560 pixels with 554 ppi. I was utterly wrong. Extremely good battery, far better than Sony. Lasted almost throughout the day till 9 pm. Very good power management from LG. Kudos.
2. Very fast finger sensor.
3. Camera is awesome! With dual camera and the super wide angle image and the image quality even in low light conditions, it is definitely better than existing Samsung S7 edge and way better than my Xperia Z1.
4. The sound quality without head phones is pretty loud and with the earphones and surround sound mode, it is definitely better than my Z1. I saw a video in you tube that LG friends have HiFi plus which boosts the sound to 32 bit but I think is not currently launched in India.
5. The processor is damn fast and makes multi tasking a breezer!
Hope to use the LG friends accessories soon to get the full 360 degree amusement form LG G5.

vineeth , 25 Aug 2016how is its otg support ? OTG support is there..i have an old usb OTG adapter that works fine, just had to get a micro usb to type c adapter for it.

AadiRizvi, 26 Aug 2016So you would carry a spare battery with you (in your wallet... morehonestly i never had the chance to replace my battery beacause for my usage, it lasts until the end of the day. i would carry a spare battery if i know that i will be using the phone heavily for the day, otherwise for my day to day usage, i dont carry an extra battery

Even if you get the freebies (modules) it will not be worth it...you'll just end up using it once or twice and forget about it. The extra battery would be nice though...

Lasts longer than any other phone this year and charges to full in 40 minutes. Never had a better phone for battery even with the always on display.

G5 is also a Remote Control for Tvs, Dvds and such likes. The battery to me is fantastic(a whole heavy use). The cameras are superb. Its modular which means more. I love this phone. Dont forget the high filtered sound from the speakers (be careful when playing from the earphone, you may forget your bus stop). What a phone! To hell with Galazy S7.

I'm Planning to buy nextweek, LG G5 it has a lot of freebies, here in the philippines LG Concept Store@sm megamall they included cam 360,cam plus,battery kit, extra battery.... its really worth it to buy or not?

S6 edge plus is old , buy s7 edge better than s6 edge plus in everything and it has got micro sd card and waterproof.
LG V10 its good device with dual screens
But it has got micro sd card unlike s6 edge plus , but s7 edge is better device.

today(30-08-2016) around 6 .30 Am (as per indian time) when i woke up in morning and i took my phone in hand and checked notification , just after 1-2 minutes my LG G5 HANGED and after few seconds LG LOGO appeared . after that my phone LG G5 not turning on its like LG G4 BOOT LOOP ISSUE, every time automatically LG logo appears and turns off . i will try to upload a video regarding this BOOT LOOP issue on LG G5 indian varient (MADE IN INDIA) on youtube. search for LG G5 BOOT LOOP issue on youtube after few hours and you will bw able to watch my video. I HOPE LG FIX. My phone is just 1 month 22 days old.
