This phone is literally a piece of shit. I got the phone bc of the reviews and rating but I feel like maybe I just got a bad phone? MY LG G5 IS GARBAGE! I've had the phone less than 30 days and I upgraded from the G4 to the G5. In 16 days my phone has reset itself, the fingerprint scanner on the back doesn't work. I no longer have the ability to lock my phone. It hangs up phone calls. I don't have the ability to multi-task without it restarting itself and then when I try to restart it myself it won't come back on. Highly recommend not getting this phone. I contacted verizon about possibly getting my G4 back & they said I had a 14 day limit and of course I called them 2 days too late. At the end of this contract, I don't know if I will be renewing with Verizon unless they can fix this.

Really like the features the phone has, but it loses signal and drops calls ALOT. Previously had a blackberry that dropped maybe 2 calls in 2 years. This LG phone loses signal twice per call it seems. Very irritating

But if LG G5 could have 2 dedicated SIM slots and 1 dedicated slot for memory card and Battery would have been 4000, it would be popular hit..I hope in coming phone they would accommodate all above features to satisfy customers..

Totaly big disappointment G5 should keep the power volume rocker at back that is Lg trademark!

yes--- no reason to have the micro sd outside to remove it easily in addition to the dual sim cards. Plenty of space to add ext on the bottom. Maybe next time in addition to a mini hdmi out plug.

The RS988 (unlocked) doesn't seem to have the FM radio. I read that other models don't have it either. It would be good to clarify which do and which do not....

I bought an international LG G4 (H815) from an authorized shop.
After 6 months the phone stopped working, so I sent the phone to LG repair.
LG recognized the warranty but they told me they cannot repair it as a H815 beacuse they do not have the parts - so they need to downgrade it to a H810.
This is absolutely insane
Reliablilty and service are fundamental aspects of a product.
LG is very very bad at it.

Well done LG, I just can't believe it, a phone with such fantastic memories for both RAM & ROM and then removable battery and FM tuner. This is the phone for Africa especially my home country Ghana.

I really really really Hate the fact the battery is that small. I really can't see why would any phone maker in their righteous mind make a phone design that doesn't even carry the capacity of the phones few years back. Yes processors are less power consuming so are screens, but does it justify the fact to make consumers to make a phone that only runs for 1 day at a time if it's a flagship? I mean what the actual fuck happened.

Congrats on your purchase finally.
I don't have a cover in hand as yet but I have ordered one from Amazon~which adds great aesthetic appeal to my G5 (finally the looks complain resolved). You can type 'LG G5 + Caselogy wavelength Textured case' in google and find out. It cost me INR 2.3K. Will be getting it in 3 weeks as it is being shipped from US. Will share my experience once I get it.
