If DAC module kit is sold WITHOUT earphone and at a price of not exceeding 100$, I will consider buying this phone (like many). HOWEVER, if that DAC package is sold WITH expensive earphone (is there any audiophile out there who deosn't have a decent earphone?; we already have more than enough earphones), that module will stay in the LG warehouse and will be sold at a ridicilous price just before G6 is released (with learnt lessons). We know what we need and how to get benefit of such equipment. I can buy dosens of G5's with the amplifier that I am using but I would never pay B&O headphone a 300$ ridiculous money (B&O is NOT an audiophile brand by the way; if B&O forced LG to bundle its own earphone for developing such a module without extra R&D cost invoiced to LG -something like a win-win aggreement between them-it is not logical for customers and we don't care such pity). So, LG, no cheating please! We are not ignorant. World is spherical! Sell the optional accessories at reasonable prices. Thank you.

i am not a fan of LG phones. but this time LG did great job with G5. spec wise and hardware innovation wise it looks like phone to buy this year. seems like better than s7.

LG should make a small comfortable phone and reduce those bezels. Something like 5.0 with features of the G5 or better would be perfect. The G2 was a hit an awesome phone but still the modular concept is one major step to the positive and I like it.
Dowp stuff LG and also consider my request.

777, 28 Feb 2016Would be perfect! Only Achilles heel being that 2800mAh battery!The statement "optional wireless charging" has been deleted from the specification. LG has to come clean on what their phone is capable of. Unless LG confirm or deny this capability, a lot of potential customers will have their doubt about the remaining specs.

I do want to go with LG phones but G5 has Little bit odd screen bezels as compared to its on previous generations or the devices compete against g5 such as samsung galaxy s7 and s6 series.... and then on the top has smaller size of battery (3000 to 2800) .... we don't want to maintain the battery life only still if it does but want more out of it..... then screen got smaller too... 5.5'' was sweet spot now a days.... its hard to get back to smaller screen from 5.5'' to 5.3''... :(
for camera i do prefer Samsung or lumia tech.... rather then putting odd alien type dual camera with funny diff configurations ....
