People dont get why LG is better than samsung, samsung is still pale in their software department, sometimes there software does this abrupt behavior that causes you to restart ur phone, LG doesnt do that, infact u can stay without restarting ur LG phone for months, secondly LG software updates are either better or the same as before, they are better with much smoother software updates than samsung, they might not have the best looking software but boy they are consistent, and a real buggy LG phone i havent really seen even the old G2 is still smooth as hell after all these years, samsung wont show you the true power of ur phone through the software, LG will

Nice phone but battery life? NAH! . They need to release a battery saver application/updates for this phone.

G5 is terrific . Can always keep spare battery, and for heavy loads like camera flash light, module swap comes handy.
Does anyone know if dual sim module will be available in US this April?

G5 beats s7 it's so much better and will be cheaper too. Good quality as well.

nima, 24 Feb 2016i think that g5 body material is metal like as apple.Hi nima, no it is not like cheap aluminium used by Apple, actually LG G5,made of Manganese +Aluminium alloy(use to make fighter jet ) it's tough scratch resistant and lighter than aluminium, just like they used the military grade steel(MIL-STD-810G certified ) in V10

nima, 24 Feb 2016i think that g5 body material is metal like as apple.no! this is not par alike metalic type plated as iphone 6/6s. this just a cheapo quality build dressed with cheap metalic plated as we see typically with other chinese metalic smartphones out there. being a metalic plated body isn't always be meant premium.

DL74689, 26 Feb 2016Wireless charging module but not back coverWhy LG do not have wireless charging out of the box Like Samsung. Do they expect people to buy another module for that and discard the original module with the phone. How much extra do we have to pay for that?. If you add the cost of the phone plus wireless charging you could be pricing a good phone out of reach of a lot of people and send them back to samsung. I hope some sort of statement from LG to clarify this situation.

I am using LG G2 for 2 years and running smoothly till then. I think even though the LG UI is a bit sloppy, but it is one great peace of hardware. With the LG G4, LG had shown us what a smartphone camera can do. And, now with the LG G5, LG has surprised us all once again.

I hope it's battery timing is not too bad or my heart will be sad. Used lots of androids including note 3, 4, s3. Htc one m8 was number 1 best battery , merely due to overall best in the world sense ui which made me feel superior to all other android UI users , frankly even twz or anyother android UI is no match for almost stock yet custom enough sense UI, shame on screen to body ratio and camera though. But overall my OPTIMUS G PRO and then G PRO 2 win due to better combination of overall android experience ( here note 3, 4 are no match if we take out fancy s pen and what it can do, well note 4 has better camera). Overall only LG weakness has been battery timing since G PRO 2 and G5's always on feature is gonna take a treat. For my next phone It will be HTC M10 vs LG G5 if LG improves on battery timing by hardware and software optimizations ( am i supposed to take a spare battery in my suit to work and remove and replace it in front of everyone and say that i m sorry it's battery ran out in the middle of the day but believe me its LG's flagship smartphone , crafted to compete with S7 in every way)
I AM SORRY LG BUT IT IS A BLOW TO LG G5's TOWERING PERSONA because to me and alot of other users ( not power users) battery timing is a part of user experience.
