I have G5 from may and I have nothing to comment about this phone, work incredible fast, accesories are great, expensive but great, if you are not a brute with your phone G5 is incredible, back fingerprint is perfect for one hand unlock (except samsung where you need to use all hands to unlock) and if you don't like theme or anything else you can change it any time. Perfect phone for me, no back fingers, metallic shape, is great for me. Excuse my bad english pls.

Lg please dont ditch modular concept....but not for g series...make a new series line name for modularr phone.....

That means that G5 support will stop much sooner and there is no point in buying the phone. They will probably even stop manufacturing the modules.

That's just overpriced. An extra battery would be enough, or just bring your charger along since it can charge 70% in 30 mins. Take good care and a few years is definitely no problem

I am thinking of buying this phone, but I am wondering - are the different modules essential? I plan on only buying and additional replacement battery and maybe the Cam Plus module sometime in the future. Also, how many years do you think the phone will get support for?
