I have two LG V30+ mainly for its audio capabilities over headphone jack. I like the G8X too but I am sad LG had stopped support for native DSD playback with inbuilt QuadDAC from Android 10 onwards.
Android 9 & G8X you get native DSD playback. But Android 10 & G8X you don't get it. DSD music lovers around the world (me included) are bitterly disappointed for this. Same goes for all LG models running on Android 10.
Seems LG have lost the paramount audio focus and now more into other aspects of the phone like external design and new form factors.

Image quality also depends upon the UI of the phone,if it can't optimise the system along with camera then even having 48 MP camera won't make sense

Doink, 21 Sep 2020The selfie camera srsly has more mps than the regular one? Why?You're aware that megapixels aren't the sole indicator for image quality, right? Better look at sensor size, aperture size and lens type which are much more detrimental for the image quality, and are all superior for the rear camera vs the selfie camera.

I had two LG phones, the G7 and the V30, both just because the audio capabilities, their dac are very good as well both have 3.5mm jack that can drive any iem/headphone easily. But strangely both died exactly after one year, luckily I still had the 2 years guarantee. Now I got a Samsung and I doubt I'll buy a LG anymore, I do miss the high quality sound, but I phone should be reliable

I hope audio quality through headphone jack is untouched after update and G8X still maintains the epic standards. Have you noticed anything different on the audio part after the upgrade?
A G8X is in my must buy list. :)

UI has not changed much! However, there are some nice touches to the notification shade. Dark mode works great! Security patch level reads July, 2020. I'm still exploring for more...

Sold out for Rs18000 in India..
My Purchased amount is Rs 50000.
I put the advt. Within 5 minutes it is sold out . Never buy LG Mobiles...Bad camera. No android update. LG Mobiles don't get Re-sale Value.
Not User Friendly as Samsung.
So I purchased Samsung Z Flip.
