Dude....Don't be angry...I had a G8X Dual screen. I had to sell it for 24000.
LG mobiles people don't prefer it because it is not that user friendly as Samsung.
That is why LG mobiles are low in demand and it doesn't have Resale value.
Moreover LG doesn't give a damn to update it's flagship mobiles with latest android. It is such a worst company.
It is still dragging on with android 9 when other companies are on the verge of updating their premium mobiles with android 10.
I have now purchased Samsung Note 10 Plus.
My brother purchased Note 10 Lite. We are all very happy

Very good phone, no lags at all, good camera and battery life. Second screen takes maybe 30% more battery but is great feature on the go, for example reading e books. This is really waterproof, accidently have tested that too

I went from a note 9 to this phone....BIGGEST MISTAKE EVER. Personally never buying an LG again, gets slow, signal sucks, only thing godlike of this phone is the battery. Apart from that, I hate everything else.

Using it, but not fully satisfied except the dual screen feature, cool to use.
Camera is not that good, lack of detail in pictures, it is just ok.
There is no face unlock like G8s, i miss that feature.
So the only selling point is its dual screen, else go for G8s with lot more innovative features and better camera.

I've read the fingerprint sensor is bad. I've had the Galaxy A50 (terrible fp) and S10 Lite (good fp). How would you rate the G8x's one? It's the only thing holding me back at this point.

I've had it since November and have never been happier coming from my old HTCU11. I can't live without the dual screen. It's a fantastic phone! The sound is amazing, the camera is highly capable and often takes better pics than the Note 10+ in the house.

Good morning .
Our Team 22 People have been using LG G8X for the last 6 months in India.
But we regret now because LG is not fast at all in updating their flagships with latest android version. We are Technology related professionals working in an IT Company.
Why LG is not updating it's LG G8X with Android 10 ???
All other Companies are updating their flagships with Android 11.
LG G8X is still trailing behind with Android 10.

LG G8X is left out even in that. Why LG ?
If so , We will never use LG Flagships .

Good luck for when you finally but this beaut... moreAs a music lover to another, just want to warn you with Android 10 update as G8X will loose native DSD playback capability. The ESS ES9218P SABRE audio chip (LG's QuadDAC) supports upto native DSD256 streams. In G8X (Android 9) DoP (DSD over PCM) protocol is used to transmit DSD audio files (dsf or dff) to the audio chip for hardware decoding. Half of the available bandwidth is lost as DoP requires additional markers to identify the signal as DSD. Hence upto DSD128, half of DSD256 is natively supported for playback.
With Android 10, LG have intentionally killed native DSD playback to all its phones. DoP is gone and all DSD files are now software decoded at the music player level to PCM and then fed to QuadDAC. With Android 9, no PCM conversion takes place and instead raw DSD hardware decoding takes place inside the QuadDAC preserving the revered trademark SACD sound and its quality. A big minus to all DSD lovers like me. But if you are not into DSD, then no issues and just update to Android 10 when you get it.
Android 10 update will only hit LG G7 onwards, so the owner have the option to stay with Android 9 or update to Android 10 and loose native DSD playback and maybe even MQA. My pair of black and silver V30+'s will not receive Android 10.

Hey LG ,, I am using G8X.....Why aren't you releasing Android 10 in India...? Shame on you...You always make good mobiles but never update them with the latest one... Next time I will go for Samsung Flagships...

Ohhh My God , What an awesome Mobile LG has made...When I flop open the dual screen , it is really a head Turner. People stare at it. It is really an amazing piece if Engineering. Very stylish.
