However my LG's are never my primary device and are secondary devices mainly used to fulfill my audio nirvana and photography needs on the go. Actually for the secondary device I always juggle between three epics: LG V30+, Vivo NEX S and LG G8X.
Many will be surprised, but my primary device is always a mid-range phone. It however needs to fulfill my own set of criterias such as: Excellent call reception & quality, 5G support, call recording feature without the other person knowing, latest Android with security patches, memory expansion option and finally light and easy to hold. Audio jack is also a must so is fast charging and battery life. Strangely iQOO Z3 (8/256 GB) fits my bill perfectly.

Audio quality is a key factor for everyone but I think that the security part is is at the top of the list.
I also lost the FM radio function, (the application crashes every time I try to open it), which is also a serious downside of the upgrade to A12, for me.
What can I say, I wish LG was back in business...

Kwabena, 02 Dec 2022Thanasis you upgraded to Android 12 when officially, this p... moreIf you are an audio aficionado, it is Android 9 for the international variant, while Android 10 for their Vietnamese factory built LG G8X which arrived to India and caused havoc with their ultra cheap pricing.
I love A9 the most because it had native DSD playback capability, while A10 lost this amazing feature due to some internal decisions from LG mobile to save money and have less focus on audio.
A10 still preserved the pristine analogue audio quality over PCM audio which is most common. Updating to Android 11 was quite a shock as the analogue audio quality got deteriorated which became clearly evident after A/B listening with my other G8X on A10. Now my twin G8X runs on A10 only. It will remain like this only.
But if audio is not the top priority you can give this updates a try, as i did with my LG K42, now running on Android 12. Amazing as I received 2 major Android updates for this $100 phone.

I've read a lot of complaints online with regards to users who upgraded beyond A10. If you can i advice you downgrade to A9 or 10 at most, problem solved. All those running A10 have absolutely zero issues and this device despite its years can still compete today.

Hi there.
I've just bought this phone, giving my LG G7 a retirement.
I 've upgrade to Android 12 with security patch October 1st,2022, through LG bridge and found out that lg mobile switch doesn't work anymore, and therefore I can not back up my stuff.
It says that a Google key attestation has been deleted. I don't even know what that means.
Does anyone know what happened?
Are there gonna be any other problems besides the fact that I cannot back up?
I've bought it through eBay from china and asked for a completely sealed package with the global version LM 850EMW.
After the update, on the device specs , now says that is a LM850UM (!). The sticker on the package though, says that is a LM 850EMW.
Did I've been fooled?
You think it was flashed?
Thanks

Sepfian, 18 Nov 2022Take a look at this camera result, quite awesome with LG G6.The LG G8X is a great device however limited to 4G only. 5G is slowly entering our country and the download speeds are stratospheric as of now.
Our pair of Redmi K50i's have already received JIO 5G welcome offer. So free 5G since 1st Nov, 2022. Currently JIO have 2.5 Gbps connectivity over 5G, with 25 Mbps download speeds. In a month JIO have improved their 5G infrastructure in our locality and hence speed have increased from initial 1 Gbps connectivity.
In 1 sec I am able to download 25MB of data, so a typical movie of 700MB is downloaded in 30 secs approx. Jio uses TRUE 5G (SA), so 5G speeds great as of now. The other factor is if in your locality JIO Fiber infrastructure is already present like ours, chances are you already have 5G. Jio Fiber provides the high speed data infrastructure which they leverages to provide 5G wireless connection.
All this 5G blah blah blah .. takes nothing away from G8X .. it a awesome device ... frankly I love it more than my K50i.

124C4-1, 31 Oct 2022I bought this "new" phone G850UM running Android ... moreThere's something definitely wrong here. The phone itself didn't launch in 2013, nor did Android 9. Plus, not an LCD screen, it has a proper AMOLED.
It seems to be a fake phone, return it completely. Better to get a second hand clean piece.

I bought this "new" phone G850UM running Android 9 version V10e-EUR-XX, isn't that software from 2013?, this was bought from a seller in China and the SN and IMEI numbers don't match the box. If the seller gives me a reasonable partial refund I'll consider keeping it as mine has an LCD screen but what if I try to factory reset it or update to Android 10?

Beginner, 16 Oct 2022Search in telegram for hindi hi res music collection and yo... moreI don't think so. I've generally received good response in all earphones I've used in my G8x, 32ohms, 47 ohms, and 64 ohms.
Talking specifically about sound quality, E50 sounds shrill and treble oriented, the high frequency dominates the sound, bass is notably lesser. Still sound quality is notably better than almost all mainstream company made earphones like Mi Dual Driver earphones, Realme Buds, etc.
Coming to E80C, it is more balanced, bass is better, but still overall its still a bit treble oriented compared to other earphones. The sound however is better, a little more detailed and spacious sounding, best for FLAC's with hidden sound elements.
Not related to sound but for me, the E50C's wire broke off easily, but this could be also due to old stock as it was 2018 earphone given to me in 2021.
Overall, I'd suggest E80C. I'd also love a real life review of E11C, which some reviewers like more than E80C but I'm not sure because it has only 16 ohms impedance, maybe bro @Rishiguru can suggest?
