I contacted LG because I was having trouble and they told me they were experiencing problems with updating and that I should wait till they had resolved the issue.

you have to enable "Only Massive storage"... moredone it.. i disabled that command and enabled the command for "mass storage only", it was detected by my laptop but as i was about to open drive F(for my phone), it displayed "please insert disk to drive F"
that i dont know what to do :|

steve, 16 Jan 2011i followed instructions everytime on 3 different computers ... moretry disabling the modem driver in the hardware tree after you have connected the phone and have started the update program, do not do it before as the update program will not recognise your phone and before the update is installing. This worked for me. It seems L.G do not know about this flaw.

this phone is good.
as an android phone provides u various features...
but one big backlog with LG is that they are not able to upgrade the OS.
whenever i tried to upgrade it checks my PC and phone but dont download the software...
its very irritating

you have to enable "Only Massive storage" option, from settings/storage menu, otherwise, your pc only will detect your smartphone as a modem.
i had the same problem :)

go to market's help online. they explain what to do depending you have o.s. 1.6 or 2.1. it helped me- i had the same problem

i have a question with this phone why i cannot download any android software trhu android market? when i click download it always says installed failed!!! why it happens? i cant download any software to my phone do i need to jailbreak this phone?
