hmmm i'm this phone for around 3 months and i found lg battery very bad. if I use any app around 2h and i spend around 70% of battery...
It's not so bad, but it is getting boring to charge battery every day.

julius, 09 Nov 2010personally this phone is good,,, but in just 1 week of usin... moreone thing the screen/lcd is not good under the direct sunlight.. my phone is useless outdoor.
LG phils. dont support parts like battery, charger...
and the supplied earphone is so cheap looking..trust me. but sound quality is pretty decent.
finger print magnet....=(
easy to get scratch..
if you use andriod phone you better prepare your patience for using taskkiller to stop apps from runnning,,,,every second of your life you will use task killer APPS... correct me if im wrong..... please

personally this phone is good,,, but in just 1 week of using it,,, i experience so many problems about this phone,,,
the BATTERY is so poor, 3.5-4hours of charging for 1day of usage... even if u dont use wifi,gps,3g...and kill all the running apps that u dont noticed..
battery will last about 1.5 day... so bad. unreliable..
the OS running 1.6, here in the Philippines we still don't have an official update.
it hang and logs, stop.
there are thousand of andriod APPS available BUT you can install 20-25 apps because internal memory of GT540 is 120+mb... and take note you CANT install apps on your MICRO SD..
some apps from andriod market make ur phone really a crap. cuz it affects ur dial,menu,message button,, hard to press/ its not working...
but if you reset factory setting... your phone is good as new...
and i notice the 'MORE'and "back" keys not good quality buttons, it produce annoying sound,, =(..
camera is not good...
wifi connection is superb..
watching vids on youtube app is really fast..
no offline maps...
and now my phone wont shutdown....it stuck with the LG life good LOGO.. even if i RESTORE FACTory reset it. =(
the touch sensibility is really good.. i think its capacitive even though its resistive.. the difference is "multi-touch"
as of 2weeks of using it...
i must say its not trust worthy phone.. because of the VERY POOOR BATTTERRRYY... so bad.
andriod apps are amazing.

ya u r write that wifi and 3g kills the battery. but the thing is i am nt using both of these n still battery backup is very small...when using any application for 10-15 min my battery gets down by 30%.

[deleted post]Firstly...don't put your email in a public forum. It's slightly dangerous and prone to spam.
Second...there was a lot of help a few pages back regarding upgrading...or just plug you phone into the PC and run the official LG updater tool. Unless of course there is an update available for your region.

This means that all the Android phones in this category(acc to price range) have the same set of features, but what distinguishes one from the other is the balance of hardware specifications, like RAM/ROM/CPU/GPU and also Camera Lens, Audio Technology/Spakers, etc.
So, dont rate the phone based on those features that u did.

I've been usign this phone for last week and I find it very nice. the GPS is awesome and it is helping me during my stay in India. I can go anywhere and dont have to rely on stupid three wheel drivers anymore. And I can have a check while travelling in Taxi or Three wheel to see whether the Driver taking the correct route.
Also the touch is better than I thought and interface is awesome. I didn't yet update to LG 2.1 yet.
